This is for people who have a trauma, fear or trigger of fireworks (sorry it's late but fireworks actually take a while to stop so this still helps) (for Pets too!)

-Surround sound headphones and play your favorite music

-Play your favorite movies or tv shows really loud

-Create a happy place, a comfy place like a fort or maybe just your room. Place pillows, food, stuffed animals, blankets and all your favorite things all around.

- Invite friends over to help you talk through the night, maybe have an awesome sleepover!

-Go out of town where fireworks are illegal, banned or just not popular

- If you have a pet that's afraid have them have them out in a kennel, room or garage filled with toys and snacks and just things they love.

- (pets) keep them company, let them now you're there

- (pets) Don't tie them up. They might freak out and accidentally choke or tie themselves up

- mediate or practice mindfulness

-Read my chapter on panic Attacks or anxiety attacks if any of those occur to you
