Alexis.

Now, I was not a normal teenage girl who wanted everything life could offer. I was not the sweet, innocence girl who never did a bad thing in her life. I was not that girl anymore. The good student, the good grades, the one who never drank and the one who stayed pure. I was not that girl anymore. Now, I was not the person everyone knew as 'the good girl.'

I was the complete opposite.

I couldn't look at Norrie anymore. Spencer was right. I had put everyone else at risk because I was the one they wanted, nobody else and they would kill to get to me. The lights continued to beam in my eyes, I squinted but soon enough they adjusted.

"Throw the gun to the side, sweetie." The man in charge snickered, making me flinch. I nodded and slowly bent down and dropped my empty gun to the ground. I didn't break eye contact with this arsehole as I slid my gun across the room where it hit the pile of dead bodies.

"Good," he said, "let's get ready, boys!"

I felt two pairs of arm strain me by wrapping my arms around my back and firmly holding them together. I didn't plan on fighting in this hall in front of these people otherwise Norrie or Cam could be the ones in that pile like they didn't matter.

The man in charge walked up to me with a smirk plastered all over his sweaty face, he slung his gun over his shoulder and stopped right in front of me, he was an inch away. His hand touched my cheek; I locked my eyes with his. I hoped he knew how much I was going to fuck him over when I got myself out of this mess. When everyone was freed, game on.

He stroked my cheek; I snapped my face away and looked him up and down. I was not going to bother struggling anymore, instead I gathered all of the saliva that was bottled up in my mouth and spat in his face. He didn't flinch; he only closed his eyes as it landed on his face. His eyes locked with mine one last time and he wiped the spit away. "Get her out of my face."

I smirked as I was being dragged away from the hall and to the outside area. I still saw the red and blue flashing lights in the background. I knew how this worked. They're either waiting until it was all clear or coming up with a good strategy or they're not really there and I was being fooled.

The grip on my arms got tighter and tighter each second they touched me. I knew where we were going and it was not filled with butterflies and roses. "Come on!" One man snapped at me. I could seriously break free from their hold but for now, I bit my tongue and continued to follow their instructions of shut up and walk. I needed to get to Maggie to make sure she was okay.

We reached the building where the surveillance room was. The glass was still broken but the bodies that I killed earlier tonight had disappeared and the blood was still there. I smirked to myself as that kill was satisfying. We trailed over broken glass, listening to it crack as we stepped over it to the staircase. The backup generators must have been turned on as we went up a few flights of stairs.

This was all very familiar to me as we reached the floor where a bunch of guards ate the guarding the doors with guns in their grip. I was then pushed until the very end where I stood in front a set of doors that led to the buildings surveillance system. I pushed the doors open and revealed myself to the man in charge of this big operation, his two other guards and Maggie who sat in a chair tied up.

I fought the urge to kick this arsehole in the nuts for hurting Maggie. She was scratched up, a tear stained face with red and puffy eyes and her blond hair was like a birds nest. She had a black eye and a knife sticking into her leg. I raced over to her, forgetting the fact that I had guns pointed at both of us. Her mouth was duck tapped but she seemed relieved to see me alive and well.
