"I don't get it," Spencer broke the silence after the radio turned off, "where does he want you to meet him?"

"The gym." I said with a sigh. I looked around at my three friends (and possible boyfriend) and think of a plan really quick that would keep everyone else safe.

"Do you have a plan?" Jason asked, sounding impatient.

I nodded to all three of them and glanced at Maggie for a split second before sharing my plan. "First, I'm going to call my father to see where he's at. I know the cops have probably arrived outside the main entrance so I will take you four," I eyed Jason up so he didn't disobey my orders again, "and take you outside where the cops will check you out and keep you safe and ask you tonnes of questions."

"What about you?" Noah quickly cut in.

"Once I know you are all safe and sound, I will go to the gym myself, unarmed and alone and I will face Joe Lock and his team and make sure Norrie and Cam are safe." I smiled at my plan, this would work.

Noah looked at me with an unsure look. "And what's going to happen from there?"

I shrugged. "I was thinking of just winging it."

Noah didn't take my joke lightly. He was not the fun Noah at the party or the most sarcastic person in the room. Right now, in that moment, he was the concerned one and the one who saved my life. "Can I have a moment alone with Alexis?" He asked the others, they both nodded and decided to sit by Maggie who was almost awake.

Noah dragged me out into the quiet hallway. I could tell it was nearly daylight, I would assume it was about three in the morning but it could be earlier. "Please, Alexis," Noah begged, "let me come with you."

I shook my head instantly, knowing that if he came with me then Cam and Norrie would die. "I can't let you do that. I need you to be safe, Noah. I can't have myself worrying if you're dead or alive. When you left with my backpack, I was afraid that I would never see you again." I touched his soft cheek and stroked it gently, "I want to be able to walk out those front gates and see your face smiling because that gives me motivation to stay alive and to keep fighting."

He touched my hand which was still on his cheek, sending a fire within me. He smiled at me and nodded. "Okay." He said softly and then placed a soft kiss onto my lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he held my waist and he pulled me closer. I closed my eyes and cherished this kiss because this could be the last time I kissed him. I really liked Noah and the thought of losing him killed me inside.

Once we both let go to catch a breath, I could feel his taste linger inside of my mouth and I smiled at him, looking at his features so I didn't forget them while I was gone. He took my hand and we went back inside where Maggie sat up, talking to the others.

I let go of Noah and raced over to where Maggie was. "Mags, I'm so glad you're okay. How are you feeling?" I asked as Spencer and Jason moved to one side so I was looking right into her eyes.

She yawned. "I just want to get out of here." Everyone laughed at her response and I nodded with a smile, glad she was alive.

"Of course, let me just make one quick phone call," I said, "you guys should get your stuff together before we move out and go home."

I took out my cell phone and dialled my dad's phone. It rung two times before he picked up. "Alexis?"

I smiled at the sound of my dad's voice. I could hear people talking in the background and that was when I knew he was right outside the campus. "Yes, dad. It's me."

He sighed with relief and cheered with joy. "Oh, thank god! Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, dad," I looked from Noah to my other friends, "you're outside the campus, aren't you?"
