You angrily scribble down words in your notebook. Random words that pierce through your brain. Your father's voice still rings in your ears.

Under that, you write more words.
Weird
Disappointment
Mistake
You look up when someone says your name.
What a surprise, it's Tyler. He doesn't have his ukulele like he did yesterday. You guess he's not going to sing today like he said. Not that you care.
"I'm sorry about yesterday."
You frown and turn back to your notebook. Under all of your words, you write in big letters, STOP APOLOGIZING. You show it to him, pointing at the bottom where you wrote it.
"Sorr-I mean..." Tyler's voice trails off as he reads the rest of the page.
He looks down at you, his brown eyes wide and sad.
"Is...is that what you think?" He asks softly. His voice is barely a whisper.
You shake your head. You flip to the next page, turn the notebook sideways, and write, DAD.
Tyler stares at you for a while. Then he walks away.
