You look up.
Tyler is there, smiling down at you. You wave and smile back. Though, the thought that he'll be gone still tugs at the back of your mind. You don't want him to be gone.
"Did you like that song I sang the other day?" He asks, sitting down next you, just like he does everyday.
You nod enthusiastically.
The corner of Tyler's mouth tugs into a smile. "Thanks. I-I wrote it. Well, I'm writing it. It's not finished yet."
You just smile at him, as that's all you're capable of doing.
"Do you wanna hear another one?"
You give him a look. He doesn't have his ukulele.
Tyler realizes that too, and smiles. "Maybe tomorrow?"
You nod, and Tyler leans back against the tree.
