Tyler says your name, and you look over at him.
"This is going to sound terrible, but," he sighs and holds your hand. "Don't tell your parents where your apartment is. I...I don't want anything to happen."
You nod. You weren't going to anyway.
Tonight, you're going to talk to the landlord about actually buying the place. Well, Tyler is going with you to be your voice. Then tomorrow, if everything goes well tonight, you'll start moving in.
"Do you realize how great this is?" Tyler says quietly, looking at you. His eyes are sparkling. "He can't hurt you anymore."
