You look up from your notebook.
Tyler is standing there. His hair is messier than usual, and you're pretty sure he's wearing the same wrinkled shirt as yesterday.
He rubs his face tiredly with one hand. Dark circles sag under his eyes. His lips are chapped.
"Hey," he says again. His voice is low and raspy. "I...I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry. Not...not this-" he gestures to you. "-but this." He points to his head. "It's too much for me. "I can't do it."
You stare up at him with wide eyes and shake your head.
Tyler remains standing.
"I tried. I really did. But I haven't been sleeping. I haven't been eating. I haven't been doing anything except thinking about much I wanna-"
He squeezes his eyes shut.
"Help me."
