Reader x Monkey .D. Luffy Hide And Seek

It was a peaceful day on the thousand sunny. The sun was shining there was a slight breeze making it just perfect. Nami was sunbathing while Robin read a book under an umbrella, Zoro was asleep leaning against the side of the ship. Sanji was inside making drinks for the ladies on board including yourself. Franky was down in his 'lab' probably working on some new inventions or upgrades. Usopp sat on deck working on his attacks. While Chopper and Luffy were fishing.

The peace and quiet was disturbed by Luffy shouting his voice cut through the air like a knife. "Hey Y/n!" he called carrying chopper the fishing rods now put away. "yes Luffy?" you asked sitting up in your chair "play hide and seek with us pleaseeee" he begged "yeaah pleaseeee" Chopper added you giggled before smiling a bit. "I suppose but don't you think we're going to need more than 3 people to play?" she asked "Hey Usopp!" Luffy called "hm?" he hummed in response "play hide and seek with us" Luffy said. "Alright, Alright I could use a break anyway" Usopp replied standing up and walking down who's going to be it first?" Chopper asked. "I'll go first" You offer "alright Y/n count to 30" Luffy instructed "yes Cap'n" you reply before sitting back again with your hands covering your eyes as you began to count. "30!" you shout standing up and beginning your search. After a few rounds of hide and seek Sanji called everyone in for lunch. "Meat!" Luffy shouted running into the kitchen. You followed after him along with all the others. Walking into the kitchen everyone sat down and conversed almost like a family. The occasional arguments and happy chatter the sound of forks stabbing into the table to stop Luffy from stealing peoples food. "after lunch we should all play hide and seek!" Luffy cheered.

Lunch ended and Luffy was quite surprised that everyone had agreed to playing hide and seek. "alright Usopp is it!" Luffy called as Usopp turned covering his eyes everyone scattered. "Y/n!" Luffy said "hm?" you hummed "I want to hide with you" Luffy said. You smiled before nodding "come with me" you say. holding out your hand he takes it before you two go up to the crows nest. You opened up one of the bench seats "whoa I didn't know those opened" Luffy said. You giggled before you crawled in he slipped in with you and closed the top cuddling against your chest. You wiggled a bit in his grip getting comfortable. You hear the door to the crows nest open and place a hand over Luffy's mouth silencing him before hearing it close again. You shut your eyes and let out a silent breath before turning your head and looking through the bench seeing Usopp looking around. Your grip on Luffy tightened as your bodies went invisible just before the lid was pulled open "hm I thought I saw them go up here" He mumbled before closing the lid and walking back down to the main deck. You let out a breath as you let yourselves become visible again. "Luffy" you say softly he moves his head to look up at you and you lean foreword pressing your lips gently against his forehead "thank you for staying quiet" you say softly. He frowned a bit "you missed" he said "what?" you ask. He pulls himself up towards you before gently pressing his lips against yours. Shock took over your mind not expecting him to be so gentle or to know what he was doing. Slowly you kissed him back gently running your hands through his hair until he pulled away. "I-I love you y/n" he whispered softly into your ear before burying his face in the crook of your neck before starting to fall asleep. "I love you too Luffy" you whisper to him seeing a smile pull onto his face as a small chuckle escaped his lips.

Later "aw their so cute" Nami said as the crew looked down at the two of you. asleep "Usopp didn't you come check up here?" Zoro asked "yeah but they were no where to be seen" Usopp said "did you forget about Y/n's devil fruit power?" Nami asked Usopp face palmed "I totally did!" he shouted jolting the two of you awake. "Oh hey guys" you say a faint blush on your face. Seeing the smirks on their faces as Luffy got up pulling you with him holding you bridal style. "ah put me down" she call out Luffy just laughed before going down to the main deck and into the men's dorm to continue your nap.
