Y/n was a quiet and shy girl who mostly kept to herself which she was the ships navigator. She believed it was the only reason Kid kept her around besides her devil fruit power. She had the power to control the weather making her the perfect navigator. Y/n currently stood at the wheel steering the ship she felt relaxed watching the sky and feeling the breeze against her skin. "Y/n!" Kid shouted coming out of his workshop "Y-Yes Captain?" She stuttered as he caught her by surprise. He smirked to himself before speaking again. " how long until we reach the next island?" He asked. "W-well Captain, these waters are unpredictable but I believe we'll arrive within the h-hour sir" she said. Looking at him he nodded and turned to his first mate. Y/n leaned against the wheel slightly looking at the clouds drawing with her finger the clouds reshaped themselves into different designs. "You're quite talented" y/n nearly jumped as Killer came to stand next to her having finished his conversation with Kid. "Y-you startled m-me" Y/n said looking at him before turning back to the sea. He always made her feel nervous when he was around more nervous than she usually felt. Killer chuckled "Sorry y/n I didn't mean to" he said placing his hand on her shoulder. She took a deep breath calming herself down she felt the breeze change and turned the wheel. Killer admired her no matter how timid she was, she was strong and when it was time for her to step up she would. "I'll see you in a while y/n" he said. Y/n could tell he was smiling beneath his mask as he walked away. She nodded as she watched the sea.

An island came into view and the sky began to turn black as the wind picked up and the waves began to rock the ship. Y/n lifted her hand as she began to force the weather to change. She frowned when it didn't work "y/n! Where did this storm come from?!" Wire asked from below. She looked along the horizon of the island spotting beacons "t-that island is creating some kind of artificial storm I can't control it" she said. Placing her hand back on the wheel. She pulled a pair of glasses from her pocket placing them on her face keeping the rain out of her eyes. She turned the wheel hard "Hold on!" She shouted maneuvering through the waves. Her eyes glowed slightly as she forced the waves to calm as much as she could. "ENEMY SHIP COMING FROM BEHIND!" someone called from the crows nest. Y/n turned in attempt to give the crew enough room to fire the cannons. The ship began to rock again her concentration faltering slightly. "Focus y/n!" Killer said from behind her she shook her head trying to shake away her distractions. "Watch out!" Y/n moved a sword cutting into the wheel. Y/n reached into her pocket pulling out a pistol shooting the pirate in the head. "Idiot" she mumbled throwing her hand out towards the enemy ship a large wave began to form taking down their ship. The ship hit something suddenly rocking the ship sending y/n over the side of the ship "Ah!" She screamed doing her best to stay above the water she couldn't stay up any longer her body beginning to sink. She lifted her head holding her breath watching someone dive into the water above reaching towards her.

Killer pulled y/n on deck she gasped sitting up coughing everything was calm as she took deep breaths. "Did we make it?" She asked looking to see they had managed to dock. Kid began shouting orders as y/n stood up placing her hand on Killers shoulder he moved to steady her. "Are you alright?" He asked she nodded "thank you for saving me" she smiled nervously. "I would never let you die y/n, no matter how bad the storm" he said. She felt her face heat up realizing where he was going with it. "I care about you" he said she looked at the water then back towards Killer. "You make me nervous" she admitted. "The good kind of nervous?" He chuckled "I think so" she smiled placing her hands against his chest before kissing the side of his mask "let's give this a try" she said quietly he lifted the bottom of his mask pressing his lips against hers. Taking her by surprise as she kissed him back. Before hearing the hoots and hollers of the rest of the crew. "Get some!" Kid shouted laughing hitting killer on the back a little too hard. "You better be carful Y/n if you break his heart we'll break you" heat said monotone as usual. She nodded quickly "I wouldn't dream of it" she took his hand still embarrassed killer squeezed her hand and laughed with his friends before taking her away while Kid yelled about a party. "I hope I can make you happy y/n" he said before kissing her again.
