Y/n was a marine experiment insanely smart, and beautiful her h/l h/c hair blew in the breeze some of it sticking to the fresh blood on her face.  As she sat broken and bleeding on the beach near shore. A coughescaped her lips as she ran a scan over herself "lungs filling are with blood and coolant" she said to herself a screwdriver in her left hand. "What do we have here?" She was barely able to lift her head to look the man before her in the eyes. "E-eustass fucking Kid" she barely breathed before having another coughing fit.
Her right arm laid in her lap and her left leg laid a few feet to her left. "Killer grab her separated limbs" Kid commanded as he lifted Y/n into his arms. "You're gonna be okay y/n I'll fix you" he muttered carrying her back to the ship.

Hours turned to days as he tried to repair her. The doctor patched her to the best of his abilities all they could do was wait to see if she would recover. Restless nights and days she broke into a fever which the doctors quickly kept under control. Until a Friday morning around 3 Am. The door opened her eyes followed in suit turning her head slightly to the intruder. "I fixed your limbs" she stared at the red haired man sitting up slowly she winced and let him start attaching her arm. Feeling her nerve endings connect to the metal replica caused her to let out a groan of pain. Her leg followed and her fingers dug into the bed ripping holes into the sheets. Laying back down she curled into herself "fucking hell" she breathed in pain. Kid chuckled before watching her roll back to face him. "Where the fuck did you go?"she growled sitting up. Y/n nearly jumped off the table hitting his chest swallowing the lump that formed in her throat. Kid stared at her shocked her legs started to give out and Kid wrapped his arms around her waist supporting her against his chest. Her hands balled into fists as she looked into his eyes. He could see the rage that bubbled beneath Kid was at a loss for words watching g her eyes start to water. The strongest woman he had ever met was starting to crumble in front of him. Her anger turned to fear and he began to feel something he never had. Remorse built in his chest he hated it without thinking he hugged her tighter against him. No longer being able to hold back the tears they began to flow freely from her eyes. As a choked son fell from her lips there was a sudden knock and Kid let out a growl. "Fuck off!" He shouted before hearing the sou d of retreating foot steps. Turning back to the broken girl in front of him "I'm sorry y/n i-i should have brought you with me that day I left" he breathed. "Damn straight look at what they did to me Kid I'm a fucking monster a freak of nature" she stated. She looked away "they should have let me die that day on the island with the rest of our people" she mumbled out. " Never ever say that y/n you're not a damn monster or a freak,you're a beautiful,smart, talented woman I love you I have since we were kids" he admitted. Y/n stared in shock looking up at him "K-Kid"she murmured leaning towards him he met her lips and her hands moved to his hair tugging slightly. They separated and she smiled slightly "never leave me again" she whispered "never" he replied lifting her up her legs wrapping around his waist as he walked towards the door "I missed you Kid" she said. He smiled "I missed you to y/n" connecting their lips he walked I go her bedroom kicking the door shut behind him.
