Y/n struggled to free herself from the ropes that confined her wrists and ankles. She shook her head to try and get the sack off so that she could see closing her eyes to focus on what she could hear. Laughter filled her ear before the sack was pulled off her head and her binds removed. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!" she was surprised by the bright light and loud voices "Shanks!" Y/n shouted crossing her arms "did you really have to kidnap me to surprise me?" she asked. "It was his idea!" Shanks said as Y/n pinched his cheeks. Y/n looked behind Shanks seeing Mihawk with the slightest hint of a smirk on his face "I would never think you would come up with something like that Mihawk" Y/n stated with a blank expression on her face. He shrugged and crossed his legs "Come on lets party!" Shanks shouted barrels of booze were rolled out and everyone gathered for the party. Food was laid on large tables Y/n sat drink in hand and food in the other as she smiled the pirates she called her friends. Laughing as they made jokes and said stupid things her day couldn't get any better. "Y/n" Shanks said standing in front of her she lifted her head a bit of rice stuck to her cheek as she did he laughed and pulled it off her face. "Wanna dance with me?" he asked Y/n smiled and stood up taking his hand feeling a pair of eyes on her back as she did moving to the music that played. Shanks spun her around causing her to laugh lightly. As the song came to an end Y/n found herself pressed against Shanks chest a small smile on her lips as she looked up at him. He placed his hand beneath her chin smiling softly as he did Y/n felt a hand grab hers suddenly pulling her away from him. "I believe the next dance is mine" Y/n was surprised to feel Mihawks warm calloused hands hold hers. "Not fair" Shanks pouted as Mihawk tilted his head down to hide the smirk on his lips. As he pulled Y/n towards him the music played at a faster pace and they moved in a tango the crew had formed a circle around them watching the two move. Y/n followed Mihawks movements he twirled her out and back in dipping her back as the music stopped. Everyone cheered the two of them breathing hard Mihawk smiled at y/n surprising her as he leaned towards her face. "Y/n! We have something for you!" Y/n turned her head as Mihawk stood her back up. A few members of the crew Ben, Lucky and Yasopp stood behind their captain each of them holding something in their hands. Y/n shook her head "You guys didn't have to" She said "Of course we did Y/n you're practically one of us" Yasopp grinned as Y/n shook her head again. Hugging them a small smile on her lips Y/n opened the boxes receiving, flowers, a gold bracelet, earrings and a cute outfit. Y/n smiled "Thank you" she said kissing the three on the cheek she walked over to Shanks about to peck his cheek when he turned his head her lips touching his. He put his hand on her waist pulling her closer before a smile crept onto his lips. Pulling away "Sh-Shanks" she whispered "I win!" he called still holding Y/n in his arm as he picked her up and spun her around. "Wwhat? What are you talking about?" Y/n asked confused Shanks looked at Mihawk a grin on his face. "I won the bet" he said Y/n pushed away from him. "What the hell are you talking about?" Y/n asked frowning. "We had a bet going whoever got a kiss from you first got to take you on a date!" Shanks explained. "Why didn't anyone also me, What I wanted?" Y/n asked turning away arms crossed over her chest. Mihawk stayed quiet and Shanks looked at the ground "Y/n" he mumbled "Would you be willing to pick?" he asked Y/n sighed in defeat turning around to face the two of them each with a determined look on their faces.

"I pick Shanks, I've always harbored feelings for you even if you're an ass!" Y/n said a slight frown on her face before smiling. Stepping towards him her arms coming around his neck Y/n looked into his eyes feeling his hand on her hip leaning his head down to kiss her "I love you" She whispered noses touching "I love you too Y/n Always have, always will" he said pressing his lips to hers. When they pulled away Mihawk and the rest of the crew were gone leaving the two alone. "Happy Birthday Y/n" Shanks said "Thanks for making this birthday the best in a long time" Y/n said quietly.

"I Choose Mihawk, You've always been there for me and you've saved me countless times" Y/n took his hand and he smiled presenting a box from his pocket. "Happy birthday Y/n" he said softly Y/n took the box in her hands opening it to see a beautiful necklace inside. She pulled it out of the box looking at it "You really didn't have to get me anything" Y/n said he rolled his eyes "For once just accept it Y/n" he said he took the necklace putting it on her. "Thank you Mihawk" she said quietly looking up into his golden eyes he kissed her softly placing a hand on her cheek. "I love you Y/n" he said "I love you to Mihawk" She replied kissing him again before noticing everyone had left.
