The last month of school went smoothly. People crowded around the six of us but I didn't let the fame get to my head. I knew it would die out soon enough. James was shocked by the news and a little offended that Elise had known but not him. Finally Ella and I got into Mrs. Nicole's limo and drove into the thick dense forest. For the third time the limo hurtled into a cliff and we appeared out side of Ella's house. I missed her good bye and then we drove to my house.

I ran into my house and threw my arms around my mom and dad. Light had sent me a note explaining how they had fake memories of Christmas.
"I love you guys." I smiled and I did. The sliver of light had taken over all of the darkness in me. I was stronger and braver then I was before. I was the new Jaxon Hill; and I never wanted to be the old one again.
