i had a lot of internal damage to my organs, but my doctors assured me that it wouldn't be fatal after surgery and a lot of healing.

my nice neighbor stayed with me in the hospital and you came to visit me. i didn't let you in the room though, because i won't fall for your trap again. i won't let myself get hurt again.

this is what you do: you pretend to care, i forgive you. you start being nice, i start to fall in love with you. you stop standing up for me, i start to get hurt. you start laughing when they bully me, i become sad and still in love with you. then you leave without caring like the heartless monster you are, and i cry every night thinking what i did wrong. then you come back pretending to care again and the cycle continues over and over.

im so sick and tired of it.

so im breaking the cycle, and im going to be strong.

because i am now just realizing that i wasn't doing anything wrong, i was just surrounded by horrible people.

i used to think that everyone had a reason to be horrible to me, but after the handful of nice people i have met, they changed me.

i won't get hurt this time. not again.

never again.
