"Happy 10th of December babe!"
"Thank you honey, but you know most people would say happy birthday."
"That's what makes me special." He said as he placed a gentle kiss on my lips.
"I need to get up, what do you want for breakfast?" I tried to sit up before I was forced back down.
"Oh no you don't. I've already made breakfast like the perfect boyfriend that I am."
I squeezed his checks together as I kissed him. "You're so cute."
"I am not cute. I am manly."
"Yeah Okay whatever helps you sleep at night."
"You help me sleep at night."
"Ew cheese." I said as I hit him on the shoulder making him laugh.
"That's why you love me."
"I do I do." I kissed him again.
Calum and I had our first kiss almost 4 years ago and yeah I'll admit the whole ride of our relationship had been bumpy at times but we made it through and there is no one I would have rather been around.
"Put on my shirt."
"What why? I have my own perfectly fine shirts."
"But I like you in mine better."
I sighed and put on the shirt that Calum was holding out to me.
Calum carried me into the kitchen.
"Calum I can walk you know."
"Yes, but it's your birthday so you shouldn't have to."
He placed me on the chair and then pretended to serve me like a waiter.
"Le waffle and nutélla mamozelle."
"Your French sucks."
"Qui." He replied.
"27? Wow you're old." He said half way through breakfast.
"Calum were the same age now and I'm a nearly year younger than you."
"Blah blah blah all I hear is old old old."
"Some times I wonder why I love you."
"Yeah but the you remember that I'm sexy, muscular and funny and everything a girl could want."
I shook my head and laughed as I ate the remainder of my waffle.

"Nearly done." I called.
We were now going out for a meal to celebrate my birthday and everyone would be there.
Calum had been really sweet and planned everything today. Including my outfit.
