Prince Justin

"Have you found the right girl yet , my dear?" Mother asked. I let out a sigh, shaking my head. "Not again, mother..please.. I will find her one day, just stop pushing me" I claimed. "I'm going out" I got on my feet walking out of the bedroom. Hearing mother shouted from her room, "Don't go too far, Justin! Take Arthur with you!" I rolled my eyes, hesitating to follow her orders, but I have to. "Alright Mother!" I shouted back.

I got Arthur with me, we went to get our horses for the ride.

"Young Prince, where are we heading?" Arthur, my assistant asked. "Arthur, how many times do I have to tell you? Just call me Justin. And we're just going inside the woods. Taking in some fresh air. I hope you wouldn't mind, Arthur" I said, looking around the forest. The view is so breathtaking.

"I don't mind. Young prince, I'm used to call you that. You are younger than me and I really like it that way" he smiled. I shrugged telling him that its fine.

We continued to discover the forest more and more. There were some new places we have never been to before. This is why I like exploring. "Arthur, do you see what I see. There! Right there!" I pointed to an abandoned house a few steps away from us. We went to the house. It looked very old, ancient house. Leaves were all over the ground, The roof now sagged in the middle and were it not for a hole that let the pooled water escape, it would have caved in long ago. The paint that had been white was not so peeled off that it looked out of place amid the dark of rotting wood.

Even the once glossy stairs were too weak to bare weight. Inside was dank, gloomy, cold. The furniture, untouched in decades, was decaying and frayed. The floor was awash with the detritus of wildlife. The door hung loose on it's hinges and banged in the wind that gusted over the prairie. One day it will succumb to the demands of gravity; but for this empty shell stands, a monument to harsh times.

I pulled Arthur with me who was keeping his distance away behind me. He had a terrified look on his face. "Arthur! You don't have to be scared! I'm right in front you" shouted in a whisper ,I kept a grip on his hand pulling him with me as I kept walking into the abandoned house. It looked so old, but the front door had a lock on it. Arthur used his sword to open it, he had his ways. He literally hit the lock with it. I can do it too, old man...

Curiosity was killing me. What do they have inside? I kept walking. I heard a slow voice screaming as if their mouth was covered, I walked into a room at the back of the house, I found a girl who had her hands chained to the wall. I widened my eyes in shock. Her mouth was covered with a cloth tied around her head. I released the tie from her head. It was as if she wasn't able to speak. She was moving her mouth but not a voice even came out.

"Hey..." I greeted her. "What's your name" I asked. She did that again. She moved her mouth but wasn't able to speak. Is she unable to speak? I asked myself. Arthur and I threw looks to each other. "Can you speak?" I asked again. She nodded. I grinned in excitement. "Then what's your name"

"I--i-- I ..am... y/n" she finally spoke up. "Young Prince, I think she's been in here quite a period of time that maybe she camy speak. That's what I think " Arthur told me. Y/n looked at Arthur, gave him a genuine smile. "He ... Is ...right " she stuttered. "I --i haven't spoke for a while. I've been locked up in here since I was 9 years old" she claimed. I furrowed my eyebrows, "How does that makes sense?" I questionally asked.

"We should release her, Arthur. What are you waiting for?!" I demanded. Arthur quickly obeyed and used his sword again and hit it to the chain a few times. And she's released. "Take me away with you now .please... They will come back around dusk. They'll kill you if they find out you're here" I nodded, taking her hand into mine , leaving that place.
