"So your not in a relationship?" Antonio asked.
"Naa I'm not." I answered raising my eyebrow. This is like the third time dude done asked me that same question. Damn is he stupid or sumin?
"Good" He smiled showing off his whites.
"Wait a min, So it's good that I'm not in a relationship?" I questioned.
He laughed clearing his throat, "I'm saying it's good because i wanna take you out."
Now i know imma sound extremely dumb for this shit but, I gotta ask.
"Why?"
He sat his glass down on the table beside us. "Your a beautiful girl, Your single, I'm single. I figured maybe i can change a couple things in your life. I work, Nice car, Nice crib Kadei you can have whatever you like."
Listening too Antonio rant on what he has and what he can do started too bore me. He sounded exactly like Lei ass whic_ I paused thinking.
I fucking knew it!, Leigh put this nigga up too this shit. How could i be so stupid too let this fall into place.
Ugh i rolled my eyes dropping my head into my hand.
"You alright?"
"Y-yeah i'm fine." Yeah fine on the outside but I'm bout to go to jail when i'm done choking the life out of Leigh ol' Mariah Carey ass.
"So you'l_" He paused reaching for his cellphone.
"Hold on lemme take this." He explained standing up walking off.
Don't get me wrong Antonio is fine ann all that but, Do i fucking look like the 40 year old virgin?. I don't have the time to be babysitting another nigga like Tf? I am not Mrs.Doubtfire.
"I'm sorry about that baby."
"Baby?" I frowned at him, Shit my names Kadei.
"Kadei" He dragged out still smiling.
"Yes Antonio?"
"I have to go but, Have you thought about it?"
"Thought about what?"
"Letting me take you out?"
For a second i was sitting there looking stupid as fuck looking up at him. Where i come from niggas are not this nice too me off back. So dealing with Antonio is like window shopping for shit you can't afford.
"Oh.. Yeaa i'll think about it."
He froze for a min adjusting too my response. I hope he ainn think he would just pull me outside brag a lil and have me head over heels. HA! things just don't work that way in Kadei's world baby boy.
Antonio hated rejection i saw the emotion plastered all over his face. But like any usual boy he played it off with a smile.
"Well you think about it and I'll give you a call." He motioned pulling his cell out.
"I have a better idea, How about you give me your number and I'll call you." I smiled.
He chuckled stroking his small goatee, Then finished with a nodd. After reciting his number too me he exited out the back gate. "Don't keep me waiting beautiful." I shot off a quick fake smile rolling my eyes as i turned my back.
Leigh was next on my list, I spotted her by the stairs. Trey was taking my niece Danger back up too bed. "Leigh?" I called out, She looked my way surprised smiling.
"Hey baby." She cheesed.
"Don't cho triflin ass hey baby me. You think i wouldn't find out?"
Leigh's smile disappeared instantly.
"Now you wanna look confused, I'm starting too think you was born that way."
"Aha Dee calm down, What's wrong?."
"You know what's wrong Leigh. How you gonna set me up with him. It was only so obvious that this had you written all over it."
"W-what? I have no idea what your talking about. You need a drink to get your mind right." She offered and i denied.
"This isn't funny."
"I'm not laughing." She giggled.
"Ok well maybe it is just a lil but,_"
I cut her off trying to walk away, She grabbed my hand tugging me. "Dee i just wanna see you happy. I have Trey Chaee has Lucas, For once i wanna see you smiling about something else other then new shoes, Nails, Hair or fashion."
"I understand that but as i said before earlier. I'm good when i get a man i'll have one. And that doesn't mean i need my best friends help."
"Not even a lil?" She pinched her fingers together.
"No" I slapped them down.
"Ugh fine but, Just to let your stubborn ass know.. I didn't set all of that up. Antonio actually does like you"
I rolled my eyes at the thought of that.
"Tuh yeah right" I mumbled.
"Ask Trey."
"I'm not gonna ask him nothing. Just next time don't assist me with any help. Got me outside with *Mr. You Can Have Whatever You Like*" I air quoted with my fingers.
"Did he really say that? No he didn't haha."
"Ugh! T.I much?!" We both started laughing.
"I'm sorry boo foreal but, He is a nice guy an_" I glared at her.
"Fine fine i'll drop it"
"Thank you. Anyways i'm about to take flight home. It's 11:30 and i have work tomorrow."
"Noo can't you take off?" She whined.
"No. I took off tonight."
"See that's why you need a boo too take car_"
"Leigh" I cut her off.
"Fine drive safe."
We both blew air kisses and i left. I made my way past four dudes and two girls talking outside on the driveway. One guy was leaning on the hood of a Copper Orange BMW X3 truck. That's my type of car it had Luxury written all over it. As for the boy i couldn't really make out a face. He had two thirst traps standing in front of him all in his grill. Ugh female birds flock together foreal, Anytime you see one that always means it's another right behind.
I eyed it a couple more times before looking away.
"Sexy ass." Somebody shouted out into the crowd.
Who the fuck is talking to me like that? I checked around not seeing any familiar faces before i got into my silver Audi coupe. I got one leg in the car when a tall Vanilla skin body appeared.
"What's good ma?" He smiled standing in my car door way.
Just when i wanna leave something else stops me. Damn am i ever supposed too get home?
