{Song in the media is my current OBSESSION and what I was listening to while writing this}

"So glad to finally be back in my hometown."

I left this place quite some time ago because I felt like I needed a fresh start at something I felt was missing.

"Feels good having you back."

"This is probably odd."

"What?"

"Coming straight to a party as soon as I touch down in LA."

"There's nothing wrong with that."

"I guess you're right. Who's party is this anyway?"

"Some chick named Jessica or Stacey...I have no idea."

"Are there people here that I might know?"

"Possibly since everyone in LA knows each other."

She smirked.

"I feel like you're hinting at someone. Who are you talking about?"

"You'll see him around, trust me."

She walked away quickly before I could even try to get any hints from her.

The house was overall a nice size, it was just packed with too many people.

Everyone seemed to be enjoying their night out.

I decided to explore the backyard since there was a garden.

I noticed a guy in colorful attire sitting alone.

He looked very familiar, but I couldn't get much of a view of him because he was looking down at his phone.

Not wanting to disturb him, I sat a few benches away and star gazed.

When he finally stood up, I was able to identify him immediately.

"Johnson?"

He turned and looked at me.

My heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest.

"Yeah?"

"It's me."

"I don't recall knowing anyone by that name, but I suppose that would be kind of dope."

I giggled.

Nothing about him had changed.

"(Y/n)."

"No way!" He ran over to me and engulfed me in a hug.

"When? How? Why?"

"Today, long drive, and I missed this place."

"I can't believe you're here. How long are you staying?"

"Depends on how long it will take me to find a place out here."

"You can stay with me, if you want to."

"Really? After-"

"You broke my heart and ruined my life?"

Ouch.

"Yeah..."

"We're fine, (Y/n). It's all in the past now. Besides, I know that you needed to leave this place or it was going to be the end of you. You're my first everything, so of course I still care about your well-being."

"You're still the sweetheart I remember."

"You wanna get out of here?"

"We have a lot of catching up to do." He grabbed my hand and we walked out front to my car.
