Slow (Severus)

WARNING: This is a name request, so unless your name is Zoë, you might not want to read it. Unless you do. I dunno.

I sighed deeply as I stared at him from across the courtyard. Lately, my infatuation with Severus Snape had become a full blown crush.

"Zoë!" Yelled Lily, snapping her fingers in front of my face. I jumped, looking up at her. "What is it?" I asked.

"It's time for dinner." She said.

I stood gathering my books and following her into the dining hall, where we split and I headed to the Ravenclaw table.

Dropping my book bag on the ground behind me, I sighed and glanced over at the Slytherin table.

Severus was sitting, looking up at Lily, talking. His eyes found their way to mine, and I flushed furiously. I slowly turned back around as Dumbledore cleared his throat.

After dinner, I was walking back to the Ravenclaw common when someone stopped me. I jumped, turning around to see Severus standing there.

"Hey Zoë." He said.

"Hey Sev." I said, as we walked together towards the Ravenclaw common room.

"So uh - Lily told me that you have a crush on me." He said.

My eyes widened and I looked away again, refusing to look at him. "So what if I do?" I grumbled.

"Maybe I do to?" Severus said awkwardly.

I stopped, before turning to face him again. "You have a crush on me?" I asked him.

He shrugged.

"Well... In that case, yes, I do like you. And we need to wait till we're older Sev. We're only in third year, and that's young to date." I said.

Severus sighed, before saying, "We'll take it slow then."

I dunno how I feel about this one.
