"What do you mean she didn't come back?!" Harry yelled loudly at Hermione, and she jumped at the tone of his voice.

"I mean, Harry, I think - I think she's gone." Hermione said in a quiet voice.

Harry let out a frustrated groan. He felt like his stomach was turning circles, like he was going to be sick. His heart ached at the words she said, but completely refused to believe them. "No, (Y/N) is too strong, she's too bloody strong, she's not -" He started, but it didn't even convince him.

Hermione stood there awkwardly as she looked around, trying to find Ginny. Oh, she's probably with the rest of her family... Hermione looked down as a dull, aching pain filled her chest.

Harry turned to look at the castle grounds, again, not believing anything. She can't be gone, that isn't possible, she promised she'd never leave... Harry looked at the ground, waiting for anything, anyone to give him a distraction, or wake him up from this nightmare.

He'd loved her.

Almost three weeks later, Harry, Ginny, Hermione, Ron, and the rest of the Weasley's remaining, and anyone else who felt the urge to come, all went to the funeral.

Black is such a depressing color. Harry thought to himself as he walked behind Ginny towards the casket. I suppose that's why they use it for funerals... He quickly straightened himself, trying to act as though he wasn't aching on the inside, aching horribly. A terrible wanting feeling rose up in his stomach again for the third time that day.

The same feeling you would get when you loved someone you would never have.

Harry felt himself getting distracted as someone spoke, but that's because he knew that she never would've wanted it to be like this. She was only fifteen... He thought to himself as he stared around himself at the sea of people dressed in the darkest of colours, with the darkest of moods.

The previous week had been Fred's funeral. Now (Y/N)'s. Too many funerals. Harry fidgeted with his fingers as he watched Hermione lean against Ron's shoulder, tears sparkling in her eyes. Luna was standing next to Ginny, both of them crying silently.

He couldn't cry.

Harry waited until everyone left, telling Ginny he'd meet her at the house, before going up to the casket.

The same dull feeling filled him again, and he stared at the name engraved on the box, staring at it until the letters jumbled together and they weren't her name anymore.

"Hey (Y/N)." Harry mumbled to himself, something in him knowing that she would hear him somehow. "I know this is kind of late - " He broke off because of a choked laugh that came from his lips. "But I just wanted to tell you something I honestly should've told you a really long time ago.

I know that I didn't really talk to you much in the beginning, I just; I was kind of scared of you, if I'm being honest. Of the weird feeling I got when you were around. I didn't know how to understand that I was in love with you, because I hadn't been in love before. Never had I known how bloody painful it is when you have these heart wrenching feelings for someone, and you suddenly feel the terrible urge to talk to them all the time, but you didn't before, and it would be weird if you just started talking to somebody, with no explanation." Harry broke off again to clap his hands over his mouth as he let out a painful sob, before continuing.

"I'm getting off topic. What I'm trying to say, is that I was in love with you. So, so bloody in love with you, I swear. It was the most terrifying feeling, to be in love, especially when you know it will never happen. I should've-" He broke off again, tears streaming down his face as he let out another sob. "I should've told you. I should've told you, I shouldn't have tried to push my feelings away. It didn't - it didn't work (Y/N)! It - it didn't bloody work, and I - ugh!" Harry's voice had become shaky and cracked, panic filling his tone when his mind started to process that she was never coming back.

Harry stood up from his knees, and yelled, as loudly as he could over the wind, "I'm sorry!"

There was no response, and everything seemed to go silent for a moment, making him cry even harder. "I'm so - s-so sorry, I messed up..." Harry whispered.

Once more, there was no response, but the wind seemed to pick up even more.

"I'll love you forever, because there's always that one person you have feelings for, and they never go away." Harry turned away from the casket and said, "That's you."

Then he walked away, and didn't look back.
