You ran through the hallways of Hogwarts, looking for one of your friends, but you couldn't find them anywhere.

When you got to the library, you kind of gave up and walked back to the Gryffindor common room.

Fred, George, Ron, Harry, and Hermione were all there, but Fred and Ron seemed to be yelling about something.

"You can't be serious!" Ron was yelling as you climbed through the portrait hole.

"Why is it that whenever I see you, someone is yelling?" You asked, in annoyance as you walked up to them.

"Hey (Y/N)." Hermione said, smiling, as Fred and George both stared at her intently.

"What exactly are you yelling about this time?" You asked.

"Oh it's priceless!" Ron but in. "Fred has a crush on-"

Fred slapped his hand over Ron's mouth, and George laughed. "Fred accidentally told Ron who he likes and now Ron's being going around trying to tell everyone. Not successfully though." George said.

You rolled your eyes at that comment, and then said, "Anyways, have any of you guys seen Maya?"

"I did." Harry piped in. "She was outside at the Quidditch pitch practicing."

"Thanks." You smiled, before turning and leaving the way you came.

Third Person POV

Fred dropped his hand off of Ron's mouth, letting out a breath of relief as Hermione said, "Fred, if you like (Y/N) that much, why not, you know, just tell her?"

"I can't." Fred grumbled, and George laughed even louder.

"Why not?" Harry asked, confused.

"Oh this is hilarious, but when Fred and I first met (Y/N) we promised each other never to start liking each other so we could just be friends forever or whatever it was." George chuckled.

Ron laughed now too, and Fred groaned. "It was stupid, I know, but it's not like I knew I was gonna start liking her." He sighed.

"Maybe," Hermione cut in. "Maybe she likes you too Fred, and hasn't told you because of that stupid pact or promise you three made in first year."

Fred blinked, and nobody spoke for a moment, and then George said, "That isn't likely."

Fred smacked George on the shoulder as they burst into laughter again.

Second Person POV

You ran into the Quidditch pitch, and yelled, "Maya!"

"Hey (Y/N)." Maya said, jogging over to you. "What's up?"

"We have a paper for DADA due in two days, and I was wondering if you remembered what the topic was?" You asked breathlessly.

"Huh," Maya said. "Come to think of it, no, I don't remember."

You groaned loudly.

"Did you ask anyone else?" Maya asked worriedly.

You nodded.

There was a long pause, and the Maya said, "It's getting pretty dark out, we should go back in."

"Good idea." You nodded.

The two of you headed back into the castle as your words and laughter echoed off the walls.

You and Maya walked back into the Gryffindor common room to see Fred and George still sitting there, whispering about something.

"Oh what are you two up to now?" You asked.

The twins jumped and turned to face the two of you in surprise.

"Nothing." George said.

"Sure." Maya rolled her eyes, then turned to you. "Are we going to bed?"

"Yeah I-" You started, but Fred said, "Actually, (Y/N), we need to talk to you."

"Oh, okay. Um, I'll meet you in our dorm." You said to Maya, shrugging.

She smiled and then ran up the stairs to the girls dormitories.

"Anyways," You sighed, turning back around to face the twins. "What's up?"

"You remember that pact we made in first year?" George asked. You blinked, and then laughed. "Yeah, I remember that. It was kind of strange though."

"Agreed, but we did promise to honour it." George said, still looking at you. That was when you looked at Fred, who hadn't said more than eight words so far.

"Hey Fred, are you okay?" You asked him, genuinely concerned.

"What would you do if I broke the pact?" Fred blurted.

There was a long pause, and you stared at him in complete surprise and shock.

"What do you mean by 'break the pact?'" You asked him, honestly scared now.

"He means he likes you, (Y/N)." George said.

"George!" Fred cried.

"Whoa, wait what?" You said.

"I - I um," Fred stammered.

"Can I leave now?" George asked awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.

"Sure?" You said, waving him off, and he quickly walked away.

Fred groaned then, putting his head in his hands and sighing. "I bet you hate me now." He mumbled.

"Actually I don't." You shook your head.

"Really?" He asked, looking up at you again.

"No, not really. Honestly, I was wondering why you've been so weird lately. Other than that, I'm pretty sure I knew that pact would be broken; I mean, just look at me." You smiled, flipping your hair dramatically.

Fred laughed at your narcissism. "Do you like me though or is this one way?"

"Of course I like you Fred." You said, sitting down next to him. "I've trying to find a way around that stupid pact for two years now."

"Really?" Fred said, looking surprised.

You nodded, smiling.

"Well - well, in that case, would you like to go on a date with me (Y/N)?" Fred asked, confident now.

"Sure." You said. "Meet me outside the portrait Saturday."

You started to leave, but then swung back around and planted a kiss on his cheek, then ran off to go to bed.

Fred was still sitting in the same position the next morning when George got up.

Have a good New Years guys.

Also I am so in love with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

BTW, I read all your guys' comments, and some of them make me laugh like an idiot. So thanks for that!

Goodnight guys!
