Those Broken Promises

You made promises you couldn't keep
Number of promises piled up to a heap
The promises that once gave me hope
Are now the promises that made me mope

You broke the trust that I gave
You're a coward, I thought you were brave
You promised you'd never leave
Together, forever, with me, you'll gonna live

You're the worst liar I've ever known
The truth you've burned,
The lies you've sown
To the darkness, you've been drawn

In the past, in me, you're someone
In the present, you're no one
In the future, you're nothing
Today, everything is starting

You've fed me with your lies
Now that I'm full, I realized
That everything was never real
Everything was just surreal

Why did you betray my trust?
You're consumed with your lust!
I just wasted my time with you
You've never been true

The wounds you inflicted
In your betrayal, it was reflected
People come, people go by
I guess this is goodbye

I can forgive, but will never forget
This thing, forever you'll gonna regret
I do hope you'll soon come to your senses
But when you do, I'll never be at your side at any circumstances
