I've Lost a Friend

It's more painful to lost a friend than to end a relationship
Those promises you've planned to keep
Those things together you've reap
In just a snap, everything just slipped

A friend who's always there for you
You've lost it without a clue
Leaving you with a remorseful end
Again, you've lost a friend
Regrets, again, you send

When you pushed your friend, it kept on pulling you back
But when you're left on your own, you've gone off track
Now you're all alone in a lonesome path you've taken
It's all because your heart was hardened
Your friendship who stood still was shaken
Thine bright relationship was now darkened

Everything now gone cold
Memories were now rotting old
You shouldn't have let it go
Consequences, regrets now you sow

You realize the importance of a person when it's gone
When you're left alone only just one
Living and hiding in shamefulness
Leaving and running alone from darkness

If you can't do a thing for it
You silently reminisce when was the first time you've meet
Recall the times when you're both happy
Singing songs and talking merrily
Smiling and laughing crazily
And cry if things are a bit shaky

Tears gushed forth from thine eyes as you remember
Now your old friend was but a reminder
That there are people who never leave you
But if you push them hardly, they'll grow tired and leave you too
That a person's patience is limited and eventually end
That they're like sticks that are some flexible others don't evem bend

You gaze alone in a starless night
With a sky so dark, no light
No star so bright
Remembering, recalling, reminiscing
Every bit of memory that was worth keeping...
