Love's Masochism

We kill what makes us alive

And love what kills us inside

Such was, as love's masochism

Singing our heart's painful hymn

When we toss out that token of uncertainty,

Head or tail, it doesn't matter in reality

We cast out our whole being, pouring it into love

Taking all risks, tossing out everything we have

We just simply don't care

Running with pain, with feet still bare

Love loves the love we gave into loving

but love loves more the pain we're having

That's why love is indeed painful

For it likes pain to inflict in its soul

The love we received

is the love we perceived

The love we believed

Is the love that deceives
