Loving yourself

How do we love ourselves?
How do we love?

How to?
How?

We always like to question ourselves.
Asking about things,
We never had the answer.
Asking about things,
We never wanted to answer.
But we kept on doing it.
Believing,
We'll eventually find ourselves,
In the journey of seeking for answers

Maybe, that's why we love ourselves,
Because we wanted to know more,
About the things
That we don't understand.
Maybe, that's why we love ourselves,
Because we wanted to go places,
We've never had our eyes upon
Maybe, that's why we love ourselves,
Because we don't know how to

Always remember,
That loving someone,
Doesn't start with loving the person.
But rather, within.
For you can't give
What you don't have.
You can't teach,
What you don't understand.
You can't do,
What you don't.
You can't say
What you can't.
You can't feel it
If you keep on being numb.
You won't believe
Unless you do.

Love is an ocean
Only the most skilled swimmers
Can dive into its greatest depths.
If you don't know how to swim,
Who else shall save you if you drown?
