Nobody said love was easy
Nobody said it was hard
But somebody said it was crazy
And said it wasn't that bad

Love knows no direction
It goes where the wind goes
Somewhere beyond the oblivion
Or below the skies, nobody knows

Loving is as normak as it could ever be
As normal as the river goes to the sea
As stereotypic as a teenage love story
As short as a four-quatrained melody

If loving someone is a crime
We'll be pleading guilty
Arrested, bailed not with money
Locked behind the bars of our mind

Someday love will lift us high
So high, it can't be seen by the eye
Too high for any wings to fly
Eventually, it will pull us down toward the pit
So low, so dark, no light could lit
In the gloomy spaces you'll fit

After all, were all a slave of love
For it is the only thing we can have
We can have it limitlessly
As we travel to the edge of agony
