I couldn't help but panic. I knew my mate was in grave danger of dying and there was nothing i could do about it. I felt so weak so.... Helpless. My wolf sensed this to as he began to surface. He was pissed and wanted blood. I immediately scolded him for trying to kill when his mate was in such poor condition. He backed down but he still was pissed. "Cayden? Are you gonna be okay?" asked Becca coming from the cafeteria with my coffee. I couldn't even answer I couldn't even talk. All i could give her was a slight nod no.My mate was in the next room and she could be dead for all i know. They must've moved her to another room or something

The pack doctor rounded the corner and called me to him. "Doc is she going to be okay please tell me she is!" i screamed. "Alpha she's going to be fine. Accept...." I all but yelled to the roof tops in joy my mate was going to live. I ran back to the waiting room and told everyone the good news. They all began hugging and crying. "Alpha?". "Yes doc" "There's still one thing can i talk to you in private?"

"Yea sure Doc." My emotions completely stopped it was like i was on auto pilot. "There is good and bad news Alpha Cayden.... Which would you prefer to hear first?" i debated for a while what could be so bad my mate was alive that was all i needed to hear. "Bad". "Luna Jessica might lose her wolf forever Alpha.." I was shocked. How would Jess go on living, shes been a wearwolf all of her life. I needed the good news and i needed it now before my wolf tore the doc into shreds. "Tell me the good news NOW!" he flinch but spoke "She's two weeks pregnant and the baby is fine." I didn't know what to feel, what to think.

I walked to Jess' room and stood next to her sleeping body. How is she going to take all of this? I questioned myself. I took her hand and gave it a light squeeze i needed to tell her. Her emerald green eyes fluttered open and my heart nearly stopped. She smiled up at me and i couldn't help but cry. "Jess i need to talk to you, but before i tell you all of this you have to promise me you won't over react." She looked puzzled but she agreed. "Jess, the doc said.... you may lose your wolf forever." i blurted out. She looked down and started fiddling with her hands. "Jess please say something." "What can i say Cayden, everything is going to e fine i guess. Did the doc say it was for certain?" She asked with a faint glint of hope in her eyes. "No he only said may but-" "Okay then," she cupped my cheek. "I still have hope." she said smiling. "Okay and Jess there's good news too." I said almost jumping for joy. "What is it." She said looking a little irritated with my sudden happiness. "We're two weeks pregnant." i said ginning and putting my hand on her bandaged stomach.

She grinned so big i thought her face would break. "Are you serious!" She laughed. " Yes babe, deathly serious" she sat up and kissed the daylights out of me. She might lose her wolf but we still will have a little pup to look after. She motioned for me to lay in the bed next to her and i did. She nuzzled into me and we both fell asleep in an aggravated but blissful sleep.
