Chapter 16: Locked away

Lloyds PoV

She's gone.

I dropped to my knees, staring at the pathway the creature took her down.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I looked up to see Courtney, tears dripping down her face.

I got up and hugged her.

"We'll get her back

I promise"

Your PoV

I woke up, feeling cold.

I was laying on the ground, in a cage.

I sat up and looked around seeing a stone floor and bars around me.

"Hello, little girl." A deep accented voice echoed through the room. I buried my head into my knees and weakly whimpered.

"I don't know who you are, but go away." I squeaked. The voice deeply chuckled as a gold/bronze light flashed and sparkled in front of me.

"I brought you here for a reason." He said.
 
I didn't bother look at him.

"And what is that reason?!" I yelled. Tears formed in the corners of my eyes. "WHY DID YOU TAKE ME AWAY FROM EVERYONE I CARED ABOUT?!?!"

"Because~ your power keep this world balanced. And me and my friend want that power~." The Jin said (I beg you, correct that spelling if it's wrong!).

"What do you mean by friend? What power??" I asked.

He chuckled and disappeared. I hid my head again and softly sobbed.

"Help me........"

Courtney's PoV

I was sitting on the sofa with Coles arms around me.

I still can't believe she's gone. I tears my heart in half! I can't even imagine how Lloyd feels!! His girlfriend gone, the on he loves.

We have to get her back.

"Courtney! Sensei would like to speak to you!!" Jay yelled through the halls.

"Coming!!" I yelled back as Cole let go of me. I kissed his cheek before going to the dojo to see Sensei.

"Ah, Courtney." He said as he finished making two cups of tea. "Do you have any idea why I asked you to come here?" He asked me.

"Is it my powers?" I asked/replied. He nodded.

"You are the destined, Night Ninja." He said smiling at me. I smiled and looked to the floor, thinking about how I could use my power to bring (Y/N) back.

"We can save (Y/N) now, can't we?" I looked up at him, still smiling. He nodded again and I gasped in joy. "Can I tell the others?!" I asked. He chuckled and nodded again.

I ran out of the room to the living room to tell everyone the news!
