Chapter 3

The next morning nicki woke up and was surprised to be in her own bed. She now thought everything that happened yesterday was a dream until she heard her phone vibrating on the bedside table. It was drake.

Nicki: hello

Drake: hello there sleeping beauty

Nicki: hey Aubrey

Drake: did you sleep well

Nicki: yeah

Drake: good. So are we still on for today

Nicki: yep. You said half 4 right

Drake: yeah dress casual

Nicki: how casual

Drake: I dunno jeans ? Something casual

Nicki: okay Aubrey, I'll wear jeans

The both chuckled.

Nicki: quick question

Drake: shoot away

Nicki: how did I get home and into bed

Drake: my ninja skills

Nicki: Pauz

Drake: pardon

She chuckled a bit

Nicki: it's something me and one if my drama classes came up with. It's when you're trying to negate the sexual connotation of the comment

Drake: slick

She giggled.

Nicki: anyway if you don't mind sir I have to get ready for work. I have to be out in the next 40 minutes -.-

Drake: aw have fun getting ready at super speed then

Nicki: bye Aubrey

Drake: later Miss Maraj

With that they both hung up.

Nicki was now with one of her favourite classes. She had been all smiles throughout the day. She had the class off on an improvisation task which they would perform at the end of the lesson.

Star: who else has notice that Miss. Maraj has been all happy today

Khaliyah: she's always happy though

Aliyah: but she's happier that usual

Breaire: maybe she's got a special someone in her life if you know what I mean

Star: trust bre to think of that

Khaliyah: but it's probably true

Breaire: probably ? Please I know it is

Aliyah: but we have no proof

Breaire: watch me go and get it

She walked over to Miss Maraj.

Breaire: so miss what's his name

Nicki: who's name

Breaire: the person who's got you smiling crazy

Nicki: is it really that bad

Breaire: not really

Nicki: well his name is for me to know and you to find out

Breaire: so there is a he

Nicki: maybe

Breaire: ooo Miss you better spill the beans

Nicki: shut up bre. Go back to your group and get on with your work

Breaire: okay but I'm not gonna let it go

Nicki just shook her head as she laughed. Just then there was a knock at the door.

Nicki: come in

Dré: that's what she said

The whole class burst out laughing and nicki just shook her head. It was the receptionist.

Carla: these are for you Miss. Maraj

She walked in holding a huge bouquet of pink roses. Nicki took them out of her hand.

Nicki: thank you

With that she was off.

Star, Khaliyah , Aliyah , and Breaire were the first to go and invade nicki.

Breaire: so Miss. Who are they from

Nicki: I don't know I haven't even had time to check yet

She took off the note and read it to herself.

Hope you're having a good day beautiful and I can't wait to see you later.

Nicki just smiled.

Star: I wanna read

Aliyah: me too

She passed them the note and let them read it as she went and placed the roses somewhere where they couldn't get damaged.

Girls: Aww

Aliyah: that's so cute

Nicki: alright alright. You've got five minutes and you're performing so I'm expecting something perfect from you guys right ?

With that they all walked away went to start practising which caused nicki to laugh.

Nicki had just finished preparing for her night out with drake. She made her way down the stairs and just as she reached the bottom she heard / knock at the door. She answered it and found him stood there in some dark skinny jeans a white long sleeved Lacoste polo and and red body warmer.

Drake: hello there beautiful

Nicki: hello handsome

Drake: are you set to go

Nicki: yep

She made her way out of the house. As usual he opened the door for her and made sure she was in before closing it for her...

They arrived at an ice skating rink not that long later. Nicki couldn't help the smile on her face.

Nicki: I haven't been ice skating in ages

Drake: well hope you still know how to. Come one lets go.

They made their way to get some skates. After putting them on the made their way onto the ice. They skated together as they got used to the feeling of skating again.

Drake: show me some of skills

He moved away from her and she skated off; turning in circles and skating backwards. He smiled as he went after her.

After a bit of skating around he finally caught up to her again.

Drake: you're good

Nicki: admit it. I'm amazing

Drake: you are

He gazed into her eyes as she gazed back into his. He wrapped his arms around her waist while she wrapped hers around his neck.

They both leaned in and let there lips massage each other. They pulled away and nicki giggled a little while drake bit his lip. He slowly moved away from her before whispering.

Drake: catch me if you can

With that he skated after her making her have to skate after him.

Drake was now dropping nicki off at home after a fun night skating and a dinner at Frankie's and Benny's.

Nicki: thank you for tonight Aubrey. I really did need a fun night out

Drake: no worries. Anytime

They were standing by her door as they said their goodbyes

Nicki: you're leaving tomorrow

She pouted.

Drake: I know, but I promise to be back soon. I can't keep myself away from you for too long

They both chuckled.

Drake: in the meantime we can Skype and FaceTime until I see you next

Nicki: yeah. Sounds like a plan

It was silent for a little while.

Drake: do I get a goodnight kiss

Nicki wrapped her arms around his neck and softly pulled him into her. He gently placed his lips on her and they shared a soft and sensual kiss.

Drake: so see you later

Nicki: whenever I see you next

Drake: whenever you see me next

With that thy pulled away from each other and went their separate ways.
