Jace jumped out of bed at the sound of things clattering. He reached for his jacket slipping it on and took his witch light stone out. He walked down the hall and looked into the weapons room where he saw his parabati.
"Alec." Jace grinned.
He pulled him in a hug patting his back.
"What are you doing here?" Jace asked.
"I cant drop by anymore?" Alec smiled.
"I thought you and Magnus..."
"Busy? Perhaps." Magnus said at the door frame.
"Alexander, what have you done?" Magnus said waving a hand at the weapons on the floor.
Alec looked at the mess shaking his head no.
"I swear that was not me."
"Right." Magnus said raising a brow and walking away.
"So.." Alec grinned.
"No, Alec. Wheres Max and..."
"Left them with one of Magnus's friends. Miss the little rascals already."
"Not for long, you heard about.." Jace started.
"Finally I thought you never let me see her, lead the way."
"Not now!" Hissed Jace.
Alec acted as if he didn't hear him and Jace huffed stalking out the room leading the way.
Jace stood outside against the hall arms crossed. He pointed at the door, and Alec opened it carefully as it creaked.
"Very funny rumor Jace how'd you get everyone in the council to believe it."
"What are you talking about." Jace hissed in a whisper.
His eyes went wide as he saw the sheets on the floor and the bed empty. He stalked out the room his jaw clenched. Alec right behind him.
"Im guessing shes gone?"
"I am guessing that too."
Alec bended down grabbing a old raggedy doll.
"Hey, Max loves Lilo and Stitch! This is Lilo's scrump doll!"
"Let me see that!"
Jace drew a tracking rune on the doll and closed his eyes.
"Shes close by. Coming?"
