If anyone is reading this story/book...

Hello, this is my first story and I wanted to start with something simple.

Please excuse my poor writing and drawing skills. English is not my mother language and digital art is not my field of expertise.

That is all.

Geno sat on the patch of grass in the save screen alone. He breathed shakily as he wrapped his arms around himself. His wound was throbbing unbearably painful. But he couldn't do anything about it other than endure the pain.

Geno coughed and his hand flew to cover his mouth. When he pulled his hand away, it was soaked with crimson marrow. He felt a flash of fear.

Geno loosened his arms around himself and looked down at his wound. His sleeves and shorts were drenched in crimson marrow. A small pool of crimson had already began pooling underneath him. Geno felt another flash of fear and panic. He was bleeding at fast pace.

A sudden wave of nausea hit Geno and he gagged before throwing up large amount of crimson marrow. And probably determination.

Geno falls limply on his side as soon as he stopped vomiting. A larger pool of crimson marrow began forming underneath him from the wound on his chest. His breathing had become ragged and desperate to provide oxygen for his pounding soul.

Geno felt really cold and utterly exhausted as sleepiness start to muddle his mind. Darkness starts to creep on the edge of his blurry vision. For a brief moment, he wondered if his time has finally come. But only for a moment.

He remembered what Death(Reaper!Sans) had said. That he would never reap his soul for a reason that wasn't quite clear. But with Death openly expressing his feelings for Geno, it wasn't quite hard to figure out what the said reason was.

Geno wondered what would Death's reaction be if he found him in his current condition. Bleeding profusely and on the verge of passing out.

His thought were cut off when he suddenly had a small coughing fit. He thought someone was shaking him and he could faintly hear his name being called from a distance. But that could only be his imagination, right? Who else was in the save screen? No one.

Geno opened his eye socket that he had unknowingly closed but all he could see was a blur of black and white.

"Geno?"

He heard that very familiar deep voice but the tone was heavy with concern.

"D-Death?" Geno hesitantly called back. He honestly doesn't trust his senses right now. He could be hallucinating for all he know due to his muddled mind but at least it numbs the throbbing pain in his chest.

Yes, he was just hallucinating. Death never comes around the save screen during these hours. He was busy reaping souls during these times. No one else was in the save screen but him.

Geno was all alone. With that thought in mind, he let go of his consciousness. He slipped into a dreamless sleep as his body went limp.
