I Wouldn't Trade A Day

chapter 10

Jen POV 

I wake up in Colin's arms to the sound of my alarm. I turn my alarm off right away, but Colin is still sleeping. I run my fingers through his hair. "Baby." I whisper. "Baby." I whisper again, to no avail. "Baby!" I get louder. 

"Mhhhm, what is it?" He answers, his sexy Irish voice raspy as ever. 

"We have to get up. We have the panel today." He wraps his arms around me and I kiss his cheek. "Baby, we have to get ready, ok?" 

"Aye, love." He picks me up and places me on the ground. 

"Do you want to go get your clothes from your room?"

 "Sure, I'll be right back." Colin kisses my cheek and walks out. 

I walk into the bathroom, wash my face and do my hair. I had my hair down in loose curls with one braid on the right side. I then did my makeup very simple and natural. I then put on my dress; a long, white dress with pink flowers, a black collar, and long sleeves. Soon after I heard a knock at the door. I open the door. "Hey baby." 

I look at his outfit. He was wearing a plain denim shirt and dark jeans. His sleeves were cuffed right before his elbow. "Someone looks sexy." He says and I blush. He holds out his hand and I take it. 

"Thank you. You do too." I laugh and grab my purse and sunglasses. "Ready?" 

"Aye." 

"Let's go." I smile. 

We were at the convention center, when the official photographer pulled us aside. "Jennifer, Colin, it's time for your photoshoot." 

We follow the man into a room. "Pose however you'd like." 

The first picture we both smiled. Then I put my head on his shoulder. Then I started to dance with him, and I took his hand. He spun me around. This continued for five minutes. When we were finished, they let us go with the cast to prepare for the panel.

Right before the panel, I held Colin's hand. "I'm nervous." He whispers in my ear. Colin was always the shy one.

"Babe, it'll be ok. I'll be right next to you, ok?" 

"Remember, baby, they don't know about us yet." 

"I know that baby. Still, I'm there for you." I stand on my tip toes and kiss him gently, making sure no one can see. 

Soon I hear them call my name. I walk out, and Colin follows me. 

We begin the panel, me laughing at everything Colin says, answering the sweet fan questions, and struggle to keep the spoilers inside. Yvette asked Colin and me to put someone's head on someone's shoulder. Colin put his head on my shoulder, and I couldn't help but kiss his head. 

We finished the panel and walk off stage. "I love you." I whisper. 

"I love you more." He sweeps me off up my feet and kisses me.

We continued the day with countless interviews. Hours later, we had a group photoshoot. I couldn't help but sit on Colin's lap. I was happy. I loved our fans, the cast, and my new boyfriend. This was the best Comic Con ever.
