I scrolled through Victoria's phone, trying to find some useful numbers so I didn't have to leave my room and ask people for their numbers. I came across Nathan's number and raised my thumb over the send button. Hanging out with Nathan again would send me back to square one, I needed a fresh start out here. I deleted his number so I had no invitation to message him. I continued scrolling through the contacts and found Frank, my stomach dropped and face flushed as I thought of him.

I quickly gathered my belongings and shoved them into my bag and swung it over my shoulder and made my way out of the dorms. I ignored everyone who was looking at me and made my way to the bus, this was the quickest I have moved in 6 months and I was certainly out of breath, so I was thankful when I finally took a seat on the bus. It was silent for a good two minutes,
"Are you Elizabeth?" A boy with a dumb t shirt asked, I looked up at him,
"Yes," I looked out the window, trying to make it clear that I didn't want to continue this conversation with him,
"I'm Warren," He stuck out his hand for me to shake across the top of the seats, I furrowed my eyebrows and shook his hand back, "I'm sorry about what happened to your friend," He said, he sounded sincere, I smiled at him,
"Thanks Warren," He turned around and that was the last I had heard from him for the rest of the ride.

It wasn't hard to look for where Frank might be, his RV was the most run down vehicle in all of Arcadia Bay. Once I had knocked on his door and no one had answered I figured he was inside the diner so I quickly made my way inside. The smell of bacon and coffee overcame my senses almost as fast as the old rock music playing on the juke box did. I spotted Frank lent over a bowl of food and made my way over to him,
"Frank," He looked up at me and his eyes widened,
"Rach-What the fuck?" He leant back into the seat, I sat down in front of him, "How did you find me?"
"I texted you," I shrugged my shoulders,
"Still as fucking sneaky as ever, Beth," He chuckled softly, "You buying?" I shook my head,
"No, not today. Thought you said you weren't selling anymore?" He quickly spooned a mouthful of beans into his mouth,
"Just to Victoria and her dumb club. Stupid teenagers buying up all my good shit," He mumbled into his food,
"Frank, they're half your business," He looked up at me,
"Keep your nose out of my goddamn business and stick it back in yours, missy," I laughed,
"When did you become so angry?"
"When Rachel disappeared," He said taking a sip of his coffee, once he put it down, I took a sip, "Where have you been?"
"My dad shipped me off to the mental hospital," He looked up at me, wide eyed, and put his spoon down,
"Shit! You okay, kid?" He sounded concerned, I smiled softly,
"Apparently I'm better now,"
"I thought you fucked off with Rachel," He sighed, "I was so fucking angry at the both of you," I looked up at him,
"I'm sorry, Frank," I sighed, "My dad sent me off there before I had a chance to tell you. Fuck Chloe didn't even know until a few days ago,"
"Don't talk about her to me," He grumbled, I raised my eyebrow in question, "She owes me a fuck tonne of money,"
"Right, just like half of Arcadia Bay?" He scoffed and rolled his eyes,
"That fucking Prescott kid sold me out the other night," He started, "Said it was all for studying,"
"Who? Nathan?" I asked, slightly confused about why Nathan would buy out all of Frank's drugs,
"Who fucking else! He has enough fucking money to sell out a dealer, rich fuck." Frank's eyebrows furrowed,
"Surely he's just bulking up, Frank," I assured him, "He wouldn't use all that in one hit, don't worry about it," Frank nodded, still with an angry expression on his face.
"Speak of the fucking devil," He grumbled, I heard the door shut behind me, and turned around quickly to see Nathan walk in the diner, I turned back to Frank, "If he comes over here I'm fucking blowing a cap up his ass, Beth,"
"Don't be ridiculous," I sighed, Frank's eyes trailed up to meet Nathan's as he stood next to the table,
"I'm not selling to you kid," Frank said, Nathan laughed slightly,
"The fuck you aren't, I'm half your fucking business, Frank," He turned and looked at me, "The rumours are true. You're back," His voice was flat, I nodded and looked up at him, "Must be weird not following Rachel around, huh kid?" I clenched my jaw,
"Fuck off Nathan,"
"Don't tell me what to do, Elizabeth. My dad owns this place," Nathan spoke,
"Get your head out of your dad's ass and leave us the fuck alone, Prescott," I spoke sternly,
"Ah yes, enjoy your date," Nathan said sarcastically as he walked off and sat in a booth on the other side of the diner.
"I'll fucking kill him one day, I swear to God, Elizabeth," Frank mumbled into his cup,
"It's not worth it, Frank," I sighed gesturing for the cup of coffee. We sat in comfortable silence for a few minutes before my phone buzzed,

Just because you're wrapped under Frank's arm doesn't mean you're safe, Martin.
