This is just a little edit I made a few days ago, the writing isn't mine. It's a piece of prose by Lang Leav. It just rings true to me in the sense of how I was in the beginning when I first discovered Prince - constantly on a high like a kid in a candy store.
The music being the candy, haha. His eyes kinda show that excitement I felt whenever I listened to an album or song that was new to me. Sometimes I wish I could go back to that..I never confronted the dwelling thought that is depressing reality. Granted, I still feel that excitement. I'm still yet to hear everything after all.
Fun Fact: I actually discovered MJ at ten years old. But being the two incredible artists that they are, Prince & MJ radiate the same feeling of infectious wonderment within their lengthy discography.
