It's been 2 weeks since that day and they've finally decided OFFICIALLY to move me, you have no idea how hard it was to get them to agree to it, one other great thing is that Chloe therefore becomes my live in nurse, so she'll always be around which I like
"You sure you're ready for this?" She asks me as she sits on my lap with her legs around my waists and her arms around my neck
"Chlo I need this independence, I'm not going to be here for ever, at least I hope I'm not" I tell her that and she sighs
"What?" I ask her in confusion
"I just feel like for you it's not about what's happening to you anymore but it's about pretending everything's fine and trying to act like everything's normal, what you're going through is not simple, you need to stop thinking like I can't wait to get out of here and live my life because baby that life isn't gonna be like what it was before you left for your first tour" she explains
"I know it's not simple but it's easier to think like that than worry continuously, I know what's going to happen to me, I've accepted it so I done want to keep going back to it, it just gets me down and I don't want the negativity, I want to be happy, being with you make me happy" I corrected her, I don't want to do what she thinks I should do and feel bad about it, that doesn't help me, I know she just wants to help but it just isn't helping
"Okay, can you get yourself over there or......?" She starts but I cut her off
"I don't need a damn wheelchair, not yet! Don't take away my ability to walk before I've actually lost it!" I lose my temper and then regret it immediately after
"Sorry" she whispers upsetly
"I'm sorry" I apologise "it must be hard to deal with me like this"
"It's not that bad" she replies with a small smile
"I know it's almost time for me to give it up, but I've got a couple more things I want to do first" I smile at her
And then we did a few things....
