Falling for a goodbye

Chloe's POV

We literally ran back to the reception and I felt sick to my stomach, something's happened, I know it

"I was called over here, Chloe Hosterman" I tell the lady

"You need to go straight up to see your fiancé's doctor" she tells me with an expression I can't read and I don't really have time to, I literally run to the elevator with ally on my tail and head to the right floor

"Miss Hosterman" one of the people on the reception for this ward calls me over to her

"Where's Ryan?! What happened?! Is he okay?!" I asked, it had only been like an hour maximum, there no way they're done

"Miss, you're fiancé is okay now, they had to pull him out of surgery due to some issues" she tells me very vaguely

"I can tell you about that" one of the doctors I've seen with Ryan tell me, gestures for me to come over to talk to him

"What's going on?!" I ask again

"Your fiancé suffered a heart failure while in surgery due to the strain put on his body" he tells me and my heart breaks

"W...what?" I start hyperventilating

"He's fine, they restarted it again without any problems but they had to call an end to the procedure" he explains but I can barely hear him

The rooms starts spinning, tears start falling I feel like I can't breathe, I feel sick and dizzy and I feel myself shaking, my legs start to lose the ability to hold me up and Alison has to steady me

"Chloe?!" She asks in panic

"Anxiety.....attack" I whisper between attempts  to breathe

Ally and I go into his room and I run straight to him

"Oh my god Ryan!" I am trying to calm down but it isn't working, everything's just getting worse, everything is spinning and I feel like I'm gonna pass out

They spend the next few minutes trying to calm me down but they just can't and I can't think straight

Then someone grabbed my head

I hear a familiar grumble and I whipped around to see those brown eyes staring at mine

"Calm down baby, please" he whispers in croaky voice

"Oh my god Ry! I was so worried about you! Don't you dare ever do that to me again! Ever!" I yelled at him

"Easy there, I did just like have surgery" he tells me and then I remember, he doesn't know what happened

"Ry baby we need to talk about what happened in there" I tell him and he looks at me, I can see it in his eyes he knows it didn't go right

"We'll give you guys the room" ally says as she shoves the doctor out while on her way, I swear he was looking at me ass as he left, the creep

"It went wrong didn't it?@ he asks me and I nod

"I'm so sorry" I tell him gently, he pulls me in for a kiss and hen says

"I got you that's all I need" he tells me
