"Who ever did this left a note" he handed me the note and I looked at it

I dropped the note with trembling fingers.
Who could this be?
Scarlett
I blinked a couple of times while staring at the note that is now on the ground.
"What did I do?" I mumbled as I hold back my tears.
Don't cry Scarlett. Don't show any weakness. Be strong
God I wish I'm strong
"It's probably nothing. No one can do such a thing." Alessandro shrugged nonchalantly and started to walk towards the kitchen
"We never know Alessandro. The night be real" Dan frowned while following him
"That's not my problem. That's hers to fix. Plus, someone wants her to loose everything she has?" He scoffed "As if she still has something. " he looked at me and grabbed a glass of water before leaving.
"As if she still has everything" What Alessandro said hit me with a ton of bricks
He is right Scar... no one wants to stay with a girl like you. Nothing good even happens to you. Your parents gave you to someone you barely know and that is because they don't care. Your friends probably also don't care about you.
"Are you okay Scar?" Dan placed a hand on my shoulder and I looked at him
"Yeah. I should be blasé about Alessandro anyways." I shrugged acting as if what Alessandro said didn't affect me when, clearly, it did.
"Alessandro is just upset and somber of how the house looked like. Give him some time and it will be alright." He gave me a reassuring smile.
"It will be alright for him but it won't be for me" Nina held my hand and looked at me
"We'll help you figure out who did this" Nina said and squeezed my hand
"Well it can be Mandy? Is that her name?" Antonio walked towards us
"Melanie" I replied and fiddled with my fingers.
"Yeah. I mean she's been bullying you right?" He paused and I furrowed my eyebrows. "Nina told me"
How did they know?
Michael
"Yeah"
"Well we'll ask her. I'll ask her actually. We can kidnap her and intimidate her" Antonio chuckled, trying to lighten up the conversation but then realizing that nobody's laughing at his remark.
So now he decided to forget about his accusations of me stabbing Cris?
"Lets just hope whoever sent that is not serious." Dan sighed
I hope so too

"Michael. I'm fine" I groan as I try to escape from his hug
"I am so scared for you and I'm never letting you go from my amazing hugs" he replied and we get a few stares from people that made me want to escape from his hug even more
"Please don't. You're embarrassing me" I frowned as my cheeks turned red from embarrassment
"Aw. My best friend is embarrassed" he lets go and pinches my cheeks
Just my luck, Melanie and her minions walked towards our direction. Nina stood beside me and waved hello at Michael.
"The devil and her demons are coming" Michale nudged Nina. She nods and glared at them as they stopped in front of us
"You look like crap today Scarlett. Who am I kidding. You always look like crap." Elizabeth giggled except for Grace.
I'll be honest. Grace doesn't really say anything. She's always quiet and she's been nice to me well only when Melanie and Elizabeth are away.
Melanie leaned her head towards my ear
"Do me a favor and just end your life" she whispered and left with her minions
If only I can

Thinking Alessandro is still mad at me, I decided to walk to work instead.
As I was walking home, I see Melanie, her friends and some guys follow me.
"Not fucking again" I mumbled
"Ah Scarlett. So we meet again" she stopped me by making her boy toy block my way.
"Yeah" I walked around the guy and before I could take another step, Melanie yanked my hair back and I wince in pain
"Don't walk away damn it!" She spat and dragged me to the ground. I placed a hand on my knee, knowing it had been scraped in the process.
"I'll show you what happens to people who walks away from me" she growled and punched me on the head.
"Please stop!" I screamed trying to protect myself
"I'm not done" she chuckled and continued to punch me
"Melanie. Stop!" Grace pushed Melanie, making her fall.
"Come on" Grace grabbed my hand and walked away from Melanie. The boys stopped us and Grace kicked one of them in the balls
"Move out of the fucking way" Grace said and they moved to the side. She continued to walk away then she stopped in front of her car.
"Get in." She unlocked the door and let go of my hand. I get inside the passenger seat and put the seat belt on. She walked to the other side and got inside the drivers side.
"Tell me where to go"

"Oh I've had enough of Melanie and her drama" Grace groaned while massaging her temple
"Really?" I reply
"Oh God yes! I'm just so tired of her." She hits her steering wheel and stops in front of Alessandro's building
"Raniero's Company? Why do you want to go here?" She turned to face me
"I work for him"
"What's your occupation?"
"Personal Assistant"
"Ah. I see. Well don't forget to clean your wound." I get out of the car and nodded
"Goodbye. Thank you for what you did back there. Also, thank you for the ride" I smiled and closed the door. She waved goodbye before speeding off
I walked inside the building and I hissed at the pain on my knee
"Scarlett? What happened to you?" I see Antonio and he picked me up
"I can walk Antonio. I'm fine" I replied and he shook his head
"Let's go clean your wound" he walked towards a room and I wrapped my arms around his neck
Oh how I wish feelings can also be cleansed and healed too
