Scarlett

I patiently wait for Alessandro as I take a sip of my coffee

"Sorry I'm late" I jump a little and soon, Alessandro sat in front of me with a coffee in his hand.

"Oh, you're fine." I smile and set my drink on the table

"So um... how are you?"

"I'm good. Sold a lot of goods awhile ago. Pretty tiring if you ask me"

"If you want, I can help you. I have nothing to do at work anyways. At least not at the moment"

"Oh no, it's okay. I can do it myself and you need to focus on your people" I shake my head

"I insist. How hard can it be?"

--

"Fuck I want to go home" Alessandro groaned as we get back in the car

"You're free to go home Alessandro" I chuckle, shaking my head slowly

"Nah. I'm a grown man. I can do this"

"If you say so. Oh and how's work by the way? I never got a chance to ask you about the new Assistant"

"Well her name is Abigail and not to be rude but... you're better than her even if it wasn't a lot" we faced each other and I look down, sighing

"Alessandro... How am I better than her? All I did was fix your schedules and such"

"You made me find my old self..." I slowly look up and swallow a lump in my throat

"Well I did a good job then" I laugh nervously and start the car

"Yes... you did"

--

"I had fun Scar. Even though it was tiring. I can't believe you do this every day" he looks at me as I drive back to the bake shop

"I get 10 customers daily. This is a lot compared to the other ten. Most of them are getting married when it's like this" I chuckle

"Well, your cupcakes are really good. This is my favorite bake shop now" he says as the bake shop comes into view. I park my car and smile

"Thank you. Thank you for helping me today"

"You're welcome. I'm glad I could help" he smiles and we get out of the car "well there's my ride" he sighs

"Nice meeting you" I stand in front of him then look around "I'll see you later"

"I'll find you" he winks then walks to his car, driving away

I bite my lip and head back to my bake shop

"Soooo how'd it go?" Samantha looks up from the cashier with a grin on her face

"It was tiring," I let out a loud sigh "I had fun, though"

"That's great... are you guys a thing now?"

"We just delivered baked goods Sam" I chuckle

"You never know... you did tell me that you guys confessed your love to each other"

"That was years ago" I groan and rest my head on the table after sitting down

"If you say so" she sang "you still love him"

"Oh hush Sam" I walk to the cashier and wait for a customer
