I can't believe that they just broke up, especially over something as simple as a tweet.
My phone dings as Hunter's name pops up on my screen. Tapping the notification, I'm taken to our private texts.
Hunter: did napril actually just end?
Brook: i guess so :(
Hunter: *cries*
Hunter: speaking of relationships, how are you and josh?
Brook: oh we broke up
Hunter: brook im so sorry i didn't know
Brook: its fine. we realized we were better as friends
Hunter: well at least it was mutual
Brook: i guess
Hunter: if you ever need to talk, I'm here brook
Brook: thanks hunter, it means a lot
April POV
Tears fill my eyes as I replay the moment in my head. How could Nathan believe such a silly comment? I would never use anyone for fame, in fact, when I met these people I didn't know they were famous. I guess that if Nathan trusts a random tweet over me then it wasn't meant to be.
My thoughts are interrupted as I get a private text from Mario.
Mario: hey... you okay?
April: I'm getting there...
Mario: you didn't deserve this drama. just know that even though nathan believes that tweet, the rest of us believe you
April: thanks mario
Mario: I'm here if you want to talk
April: i might just take you up on that offer
I spent the whole night talking through my heartbreak with Mario. I'm lucky to have a loyal guy like him around.
