*2 days later and it was the day of the royal wedding, people from all over Auradon had come to see the king Ben marry his new queen, Ben was with Doug as his best man and Mal with Evie as her maid of honour as they awoke on the morning of the wedding*
Doug: dude you okay there?
Ben: it was two nights ago and my head is still not happy with me
Doug: I told you getting that drunk was an extremely bad idea
Ben: yeah and then you got like ten times more drunk so don't try and play the voice of caution and whatever with me Doug mate
Doug: true, but god was it worth it
Ben: Jesus Christ I'm actually finally marrying her today
Doug: you've only waited how many years now?
Ben: let's see, about 27 months we've been engaged and we've been together for I don't even know a long time nearly 5 years
Doug: and how were those 5 years?
Ben: agonising, like I don't want to wait another second let alone a few hours, I want her to be my wife already can we just get on with it?
Doug: be patient, trust me, it's very, very worth it if you take your time now and give her a good day, I'm sure you two lovebirds will have a lot of fun once you're out of the public eye
Ben: that's a disgusting thing to say
Doug: but how much have you thought it in the past half an hour?
Ben: consistently
Doug: there you go
*meanwhile*
Mal: what if something goes wrong?! What if he's changed his mind?! What if something happens?!....
Evie: MAL! CALM DOWN!
Mal: you're the one shouting
Evie: because you have gotta stop this, I'm gonna do your makeup and your hair and then you're gonna put on your dress while I do my own hair and makeup, once I've got my dress on we're gonna go, you're gonna go say your vows in front of your kingdom and marry the man you love, simple as that, just forget about everyone else and everything else, you're not marrying them you're marrying Ben and he's not got a single worry about this, he's 100% in it M
Mal: yeah, I know
Evie: alright then let's get this show on the road
