Lily and Eve had quickly become awkward stuttering messes around each other after Efa had teased them nonstop at the library and afterward. Lily would become as red as her hair and Eve could barely speak anytime they were around each other or even looked in one others direction.

Efa easily noticed and teased the two even more, even going as far to mention a little something to Sirius about the two girls. The sixth year laughing whenever he saw one or the other.

Though telling Sirius might have ended up being a bad idea as he ended up telling the rest of the Marauders. Remus and Peter having a good laugh while James faked his. The three boys were quick to notice it, and immediately stopped to comfort the boy who had had a crush on Lily since their first year.

"Come on, mate," Sirius said, lying at the foot of James' bed, "I hate to say it, but you never had a chance. She's been saying she hates you since first year."

"I would've gotten her," James insisted stubbornly.

"James," Remus said seriously, "No offence, or anything-"

"-here comes something offence," James mumbled.

Remus let out a little chuckle before continuing, "But she doesn't really like you."

"Especially with what you did to Snivellus," Peter pipped in.

"See," Sirius pointed to the rat animagus and werewolf, "Wormtail and Moomy agree."

"Whatever you say, Dadfoot."

Sirius glared jokingly at James, "Listen here boy, you will listen to your mother and I, get over Evans."

"As much as I hate to agree with your father, Prongs," Remus went along, "I'm gonna have to agree with him."

Sirius smiled brightly at Remus, "Oh, I knew you loved me Remus! I just knew it!"

"Shut up," Remus smiled, chucking a pillow at the dog's face.

The boys had done their best to cheer up the upset marauder and it was a complete success. They knew James was still hopelessly in love with redheaded muggleborn, but he did join them with a convincing smile to tease Eve or Lily whenever they saw them. In fact, the four boys noticed that despite being extremely awkward around each other, the two girls had been spending more and more time together.

They also noticed that Efa had taken a certain liking to Sirius, not that he noticed at all. They were currently around the Black Lake on one of the few sunny days in February.

Efa was enjoying her time in the water, trying to get her twin to join her.

"I'm good, Efa," Eve assured her twin, sitting on the shore of the lake quite contently with a fairy tale book in her hand.

"Aww, come on, Eve," Efa whined childishly.

"Uh-"

"Too bad," Efa stomped over to Eve and grabbed her wrist, pulling her off the ground causing her to drop her book and dragged her towards.

"Efa!" She tried digging her bare feet into the ground and even went as far as turning in the other direction and running towards Remus, Sirius, James, Peter, and surprising Lily who was putting up with the boys' presence.

When none of that worked, she sent a quick spell towards Efa causing her to jump up in the air- releasing Eve's wrist in the process- and place her hands over her butt as she let out a squeal of shock. Eve quickly took the initiative to run away.

The boys and Lily were laughing at the two as Efa sent spell to Eve in retaliation. A full out dull with their magic broke out. Efa using the water to her advantage, and Eve using the power of the Earth to fuel her.

Unfortunately, the two ended up drawing much unwanted attention of the other students who decided to enjoy the sunny but cool day outside. Many students surrounded the two girls as they fought- with what seemed to them, advanced wandless and wordless magic- and watched in awe. Eve and Efa barely payed attention to the people surrounding them, the 'fight' just being for the fun of the two and to work on their magic.

If they were paying attention, they would have noticed the witches and wizards paying close far too close attention to the girls. Even closer to Eve once she shot her twin into the water.
