When March came by, smiles were brought with it. The weather was starting to warm up and flowers were staring to bloom. But, along with the greenery returning to Hogwarts, many birthdays were being celebrated.

Remus' seventeen birthday would be on the tenth and James' would be on the twenty seventh. Sirius' birthday was all the way back in November and Lily's was on the twentieth of January. Peter, however, being the youngest of everyone, hasn't had his birthday quite yet.

Eve was unable to celebrate Sirius' birthday for she didn't know him- not really, anyway- by then. But, she did celebrate Lily's seventeenth birthday with her and got introduced to a majority of Lily's friends like Marlene McKinnon, a fifth year, Alice Prewett, Mary McDonald, Emmeline Vance, and Frank Longbottom, a seventh year.

"Come along, Lily," Eve had said as she dragged the unsuspecting seventeen year old towards the Forbidden Forest.

"Uh, Eve, I don't think it's a good idea to go into the forest. There are loads of dangerous creatures in there!" Lily told her, trying to get back to the castle and sulk. It was freezing cold outside. It was her birthday. She hadn't seen a single one of her friends all day! Now she was trudging through the snow in nothing but leggings, a jumper, boots, and a scarf, following a Faery she'd known for less than a year.

"No, it's fine, Lily. Come on, we're almost there!" Eve said excitedly as she started jumping around and tugging Lily into the forest.

"Eve!" Lily said as she tugged back, trying desperately to get out of the Forbidden Forest.

"Stop struggling, woman!" Eve said yanking Lily's arm hard, causing both of them to tumble and fall to the ground. The two rolled for a short while before ending up at the edge of a quiet and empty clearing.

"Eve," Lily said with a glare as she got up off the laughing Faery, "None of this is funny!" She stomped her foot on the ground, trying not to join Eve in the laughter. "Come on, Eve! Where even are we?"

"We're in the Forbidden Forest," Eve told her from the forest floor.

Lily gave her a look a look. Letting out another chuckle, Eve sat up off the ground. She took Lily's hand and led her into the clearing.

From the outside, the clearing looked completely empty and bare, but once you step inside, it was like a veil had been lifted. Lily stared in shocked silence at the decorations all around the clearing. Little fairy lights were put up all around the clearing, the snow was cleared off the ground, and the air had warmed up considerably.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LILY!!" Frank, Alice, Mary, and Marlene shouted as they threw their hands up in the air. Behind them was a table filled with all different kinds of food and candy and a delicious looking cake. Towards the left side of the clearing was a large stack of presents.

Small tears gathered in Lily's eyes as she looked around at all of her friends. Her emerald eyes finally landed on Eve, a bright smile adorning her face. "Did you do all this?"

"Happy birthday, Flower."
