Here We Go Again

Maya's POV

I followed Andrew to his room expecting the worst. He walked into his room, and when I walked in, he shut the door behind me. I felt a rush of adrenaline. What's about to happen? Should I leave? No, what about Krystalynn?? I can't leave her here! He doesn't know how to take care of her.
"What's going on?" I asked nervously.
"Look at this." He said and turned around from his shelf. He held out a piece of paper. I carefully inspected it. It was an award for the show that we were in. It was just our grade, not the whole highschool. I got one similar except it had '1st place' written on it instead of second place. The people who placed 1-5 get to perform in front of the entire school.
"Second place! Wow Andrew! Good job!" I gave him a sincere smile. 'He has no idea...' I smirked to myself.
"Yeah thanks. I know you got first." Oh. He does know...
"Yeah." I looked at the floor.
"Well, congrats!" He grinned at me. "You're extremely talented." He remarked.
"Thanks!" I said, and before I knew what was happening, I had pulled him into a full-on hug.
He hugged me back and... Kissed me. Oh $&?@.
I backed away and left the room. I sat on the couch with my head in my hands. Thank the good Lord Josh didn't see that!    

I heard a knock on the door. "Um, I'll get it." I said to Andrew. It was Josh. I just hope he didn't see anything. It was an accident! A freak ACCIDENT!!!! That was all it was!
"Hey babe." Josh glanced at me. I knew he was hiding something. I could see it on his face. "It's midnight. I want you back home, okay?" He took my hand.
"Andrew, I think you got it from here." I said to him. He threw a quick smirk at me before shutting the door behind Josh and me. What was with that smirk?!

Josh took my hand and sat me down on his bed. "I saw him kiss you, Maya."
