Its been a week since Alex appeared & Luffy & him have become great friends, Luffy would usually hang out with him without the other two since Alex doesn't really like them, well, he doesn't like Freckles is all
"How come you don't like Ace?" Luffy asked as Alex lied against Jaws, who was asleep
"We've been through this Luffy, they don't trust or like me, neither do I. Mostly Ace, he's very annoying & things he can one up me." every time the two would bump into each other Ace would always try to battle him, making Alex hit him into a tree & go on with his day
"Well Sabo likes you."
"Sure he does, kid." Alex closed his eyes & Luffy wanted to ask, one last question
"Alex."
"Yes?"
"Why don't you want to be my brother?" he eyes fling open & he looks at Luffy while sweating a little "Are you--" Alex cut him off by standing up & waking Jaws up
"I gotta go Kid, see ya around!"
"W-What about--" but Alex was already on Jaws & he was walking off, Alex was lying on his back staring up into the sky as he got teary eyed, one tear fell from his eyes & down his cheek
"Cause you remind me... to much of her."
(Luffy POV)
I sat there confused at why he left, how come he doesn't want to be my brother, or our brother to the least of it. He likes me as a friend, but why not a brother. I get up & I start walking in the direction he left... until I was tackled to the ground
"Where'd he go?! Where'd he go?!"
"I was going to go to him until you tackled me to the ground, thank you."
"Which way did he go?" I pointed in the direction & Ace ran in that direction, Sabo & I look at each other before running after him, we caught up to him but he was standing still. We look in the direction he was staring at & saw Alex
"Hey AL--" I was cut off when Sabo cover my mouth
"Shut up Luffy, look."
(Third Person POV) --- Again
Alex looked down at the heart shaped locket that was in his hand & was opened to a picture of a little girl with platinum (lets say) blonde hair, cyan blue eyes & was wearing a cute little white dress with a blue ribbon

A little melody played every time he opened the locket & as he stared at the picture of his little sister, he couldn't help but tear up & a single tear landed on the picture
"I'm gonna miss you, Sammy." he then took a deep breath & started singing the sweet melody

He fell to his knees as he started crying while muttering 'Sammy' not knowing the three brothers walking up to him, he sobbed into his hand but then felt someone hug him from behind
"H-Huh?" he turns around & notices it was Luffy who hugged "What are you--"
"Who's Sammy?"
"S-Sammy... s-she's my, little sister."
"Is that the reason you don't want to be my brother?"
"Its cause I don't want to replace her." Sabo & Ace look at each other & then at Alex with pity, soon enough Jaws appeared & nudged Alex's cheek which made him smile so he stood up "I'll be your brother."
"What?" he looked down at Luffy & smile
"I need to move on so, I'll be your big brother, kid." Luffy stood there for awhile, before smiling & jumping up & hugging him, while wrapping his arms around him multiple times, making Alex freak out
