(Time Skip - A Couple Weeks)
(Alexander POV)
Currently I was on Sly's back while he was flying & I was reading the newspaper while smoking a cigarette. They help me to stay calm & I have grown a habit to smoking these, so suck up! Nothing much has shown up in the newspaper, a couple bounties, people getting killed, a masquerade ball with a devil fruit on displ--
"Wait what?! On the Island of Juzu (made that up) a Noble family have found a very rare Devil Fruit & they are having it on display. Only those who have purest blood may entire their humble domain!" I glare at the noble part
"Whats the plan Boss?" I pull the the book of devil fruits out & look back at the devil fruit on the newspaper, I flicked through the pages while blowing some smoke out & then found the devil fruit, it was indeed rare so I smirk to myself
"We need to find me a suit."
(Time Skip)
Currently I was in front of the palace, while wearing a tux, with Sly, he was wearing one too, & I was trying to stretch the collar cause it was tight. I took unbuttoned a couple of buttons & I could breath again, a bit of my chest was showing, same with Sly, & when the women saw us entire the palace they blushed
"O-Oh my..."
"Who are they?!"
"What royal family did they come from?!" we pushed pass those comments & walked over to where the food was, I had to contain myself from eating it like a pig cause it would blow our cover so I hid some food in my pockets while eating some cake... cakes my favorite so hush! I look around & noticed a beautiful woman being cornered by a few men... ugly noble men I may add
"Hey sweet cheeks, wanna explore something you might like~?"
"How about I explore your cavern doll face~?" I grit my teeth & make my way towards them, I wrap my arm around her shoulder & pull her towards me, hearing her gasp in surprise & shock "& who are you? Her knight in shining armor?" they laugh together but start sweating when they saw my glare breaking into their souls
"No, but I'm her date. Scram or I'll have to break you." they fell backwards before running away, when they went back to their dates, they got a hard smack across the face, I sigh "I'm sorry if I scared you mi'lady, but I couldn't help but feel annoyed at how they were acting towards you. That is not how they should treat a fine lady like yourself." she chuckled & folded her arms under her breasts, making me blush while rubbing the back of my neck
"That is quite alright, but your quite the gentleman, sir."
"M-My name is Alexander, Knight D. Alexander, but call me Alex if you want." she nods
"My name is Robin, Nico Robin at your serious." we started talking about random stuff that came to mind, she liked to read about history & said that she wanted to read all the history on a poneglyph. I asked her what that was & she explained to me that somewhere in the world, one of those is placed & on it is history that has been there for more the 100 years!
We sat outside & she pulled out a book & started teaching me a bit about the poneglyph language & how to read it. I would just stare at it until she read it out & I would read it after her, she smiled when I was able to get it right, I smile at her when so. I look up at the stars & tell her that I liked stargazing & I was able to read the constellation
"Hey look! Its the big dipper! Also known as the Ursa Major!"
"Whats that above it? It kinda looks like a snake."
"Its called a Darco!"
"Interesting." I start grinning & she starts smiling, I start telling her that every constellation has a tale, & a different tale means a different story that someone has lived through. She listened very carefully & I blush lightly that the stars reflected onto her bright & beautiful sky blue eyes
(Third Person POV)
Alex stood up & dusted himself before helping Robin up, they linked arms before walking in with smiles. When so everyone in the ballroom glared at how cute they looked, the women glared at Robin for having Alex while the men glared at Alex for having Robin
"Look at how jealous everyone is."
"Mm." soon enough Sly runs up to them
"B-Boss!"
"Oh, hello there Sly. I forgot about you for a second, whats the matter?" suddenly Sly gripped his shoulders, making Alex unlink his arms from Robin "O-Oi, what the matter?!"
"The devil fruit we were after!" Alex raises an eyebrow "Their selling it to make big bucks!"
"Eh? Whats so ba--"
"& its already been sold to be guy over there." he was quiet for awhile then he turned his head over to the big guy. He sighs & pulls out a cigarette, lighting it & blowing smoke in the air while pulling out the little staff
"Shits about to go down!" soon enough marines appear & the man hands the devil fruit over to them "You've got to be joking."
"We've been interested in this little devil fruit for awhile & now that we have our hands on it, I'm gonna be the one to eat it." as he tries to eat it the blade of Alex's scythe is just a couple inches away from his neck, he looks at Alex with a scared expression, he smirks as he takes his jacket off & blows out a puff of smoke
"There's no way I'm losing that devil fruit when I'm so close!"
