(Alexander POV)
"So you plan on getting to Sky Island by putting wings on your ship?" I ask while crossing my arms & tilting my head to the side, that's when I put my hand to my chin "Hey that's not exactly a bad idea unless you have a death wish." Nami, Chopper & Usopp paled
"What d-do you mean?"
"Your going to Skypiea by the Knock up Stream, correct?" Nami nods
"Yes, Masira & Shoujou say its the only way up." I look over at them
"Only way up, huh? There is another wa--" before I could finish they both cover my mouth, I look up at them with a confused look
"It is the only way up!"
"Alex-kun is just confused since he went up on a flying dog!"
"Hey!" they give me a look before letting me go
"You just want to see them try, don't you? I do too, so I won't tell them." & I walk away leaving them, pretty scared out of their minds. I look over at the blue prints & couldn't be a little impressed & a bit not, they're making the wings out of wood? Is that the reason why Luffy & that were in the forest?
"What are you looking at?" Sly asked
"Hmm, these aren't so bad. Maybe I could make these sometime later, with better parts that is." he rolls his eyes "Whats with that look?"
"Nothing, nothing! You look at something & think you can improve it!"
"Do not!" he gives me a look "Okay maybe I do but you can't blame me! I'm an inventor & mechanic!"
"Mm true, but still. You always have this look & when you see an invention your like " I can make that better then you." I mean, who does that?!"
"Me." I grin at him & he sighs
(Time Skip)
We finished the little or big project on Luffy's ship & he was sailing away, I was on his ship as they sailed to the Knock up stream
"I might get going soon, kid." I say as I ruffle his hair, he jumps at me & hugs me tight
"Aw~ can't you join my crew?!"
"Maybe some other time." he pouts but nods sadly & groggily walks over to Nami, that was when Robin walks over to me
"I hope you do join the crew so I'll be able to see you again." I chuckle as I kiss her forehead
"You & Luffy would be my biggest reasons why I'd join the crew, Robin." I smile as I jump over the ship & onto Sly & he flies away "Oh & there is another way to get to Sky Island, its called Gan Fall! Its much more safer then this!" Shoujou & Masira started laughing as Nami, Chopper & Usopp screamed
"What?!" Nami threw something at me & I caught "Why didn't you tell us?!"
"We wanted to see you try!" & Sly started to fly away, I did not want to be there when that thing blows, it took awhile when the knock up stream appeared & shot the ship up "I can't believe it worked." the two big apes started dancing around & I chuckled
"Shall we get going, Boss?" I nod, while lighting a cigarette & he flew off
(Third Person POV)
Sly & Alex landed on a island, unaware of the fact Marines were there, & Alex was looking for parts to build the wings. Lately, Sly does mind flying Alex around but he wants to give him a rest so, why the hell not make wings
He walks into a shop & asks for spare parts & other junk like that, they gave him a few boxes but warned him they were heavy but he easily carried them
"Thank you!"
"That kid." he walks around while carrying the boxes & notices Sly sitting down, he puts the boxes next to him before running off & finding other parts, when he did he was coming back but accidentally bumped into someone
"Oh I am so sorry!" he puts the boxes down & helps her up, accidentally stepping on her glasses in the process
"T-Thank you! I'm Tashigi."
"Alex."
"Um, have you seen my glasses." his eyes widened, he looked down while lifting his foot up & noticed the glass shards under his foot
"I am terribly sorry, I think I broke your glasses!"
"Oh not again."
"I'll fix them for you though! I promise!"
"Really? Thank you!" he picks the boxes up & gently grabs her hand before walking, unaware that she was blushing "So warm…" he sits her down when he was back with Sly & started fixing her glasses, first was the frame & that was easy but the glass was the tricky part
He looked through the boxes & was able to find some glass, they didn't fit of course so he reshaped them before setting them in the glasses
"Good as new." he puts them on Tashigi & once she opened her eyes, she smiled at him "You look rather cute with glasses." she blushes at Alex & he laughs
"T-Thank you."
"Oh stop thanking me, mi'lady, it was no problem." she stands up & salutes him
"The marines could use someone like you, helping though's who are in need!" his eyes widened, he helped someone in the marines?! "I hope we m-meet again, Alex-kun."
"Me too!" she smiled before before walking away, accidentally falling over in the process, she gets up & waves him off before running away "Well…"
"Your such a gentleman to pirates, nobles & now marines. You have such a big heart, Boss."
"I know."
