Everyone stood still as they saw Alex stumble backwards as blood oozed out of his stomach, he coughed up blood & a smile shakily tugged against his lips. Why you ask? Well, maybe because he can feel it. Usually when it comes to those kinds of attacks... he can't feel it
Ace & Luffy were currently about to fight Akainu but stopped when they saw Alex's blood, which resulted them to tear up & run over to him
"Why are you smiling?! You lost!"
"Y-Yes I did... but I lost to you..." he fell to his knees & coughed up more blood, this time it made her flinch
"ALEX!!" Ace & Luffy shoved passed her as they held him up straight, someone laughed evilly as they snapped their fingers & that made Samantha blink a few times, her hollow eyes then turned clear cyan blue & she started looking around, rather confused
"H-Huh...? Where am I? What's going on?" she looks down & saw that they were cradling Alex in their arms, she then notices locket around his neck similar to hers so she started walking up to him
"What are you doing? Trying to finish the job?" she hesitantly shook her head as she asked
"A-Alexis-kun... b-big brother?" Alex let out a chuckle as he looked at her with blood dripping from his chin
"I really w-wished you'd stop calling m-me that, Sammy..." she gasped as she shoved the two out of the way, fell to her knees & hugged him
"Alexis-kun!!!" he laughed this time "What h-happened?! Why are y-you bleeding so much?!" he suddenly turned serious
"So... it wasn't y-you. Someone was c-controlling you... what d-do you remember?"
"All I remember is finding out y-you were alive, big brother!! I was so happy I was going t-to try & find you but t-then... I ran into s-someone & everything went black! But that doesn't m-matter anymore! I-I need to--" Alex shushed her
"No... there's nothing to do." this time Ace yelled
"Don't think like that Alex!! We'll think of something!" Alex waved his hand in front of them as in saying no
"There's nothing to do, get out while you still can Ace, Luffy!"
"We're not leaving without you!! & what happened to our promise, you promised you'd never die!!" Alex laughed lightly as he started to tear up
"I know what I said, but some promises were made to be broken." Luffy starts to bawl his eyes out soon, & same with the others who were friends with him
"P-Please don't say that, please Alex!" they held him tighter & he grunted, soon enough he rummaged through his pockets & pulled out the necklace he was going to give to Alex, he held it out to Luffy & smiled gently
"L-Luffy..." he looks up "Can you p-please give this to R-Robin, would you? &-& tell her I'm sorry? I-I'm afraid I can't..." Luffy slowly nodded as he took the now bloody necklace into his hands "Also, I'm sorry for swearing." the three laughed lightly "There's those smiles, oh, S-Sammy."
"Y-Yes...?"
"Can you p-play your lullaby?" she slowly nodded & opened her locket, playing a nice melody & a picture of Alex

Alex lightly smiled, tears streamed down his face as he took a deep breath & his eyes slid shut. She gasped as she stared down at him, the other two do the same
"A-Alex...? Big bro?"
"Come on Alex, wake up! Please tell us your just joking! Tell us your joking!!"
"Alex!! Wake up!" the three cry out in pain & sadness but Sam's, was the loudest. She just killed her brother without even realizing she did (I'm listening to Terrible Things right now, & its killing me!!)
All the Whitebeard Pirates started crying, even Whitebeard was crying himself. He hadn't been with the kid as long as Ace but he still considered him as his son, by blood don't mean shit! Sam was cradling his head in her arms while rocking back & forward while crying her heart out
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry...!" she kept muttering sorry while the other two were crying while hugging each other
(Time Skip)
The two had left while the marines forcefully pulled Sam away from Alex's dead body, Whitebeard was currently versing Blackbeard, AKA, Teach, & was losing since Teach had the upper hand
"I gotta thank that Samantha woman for getting rid of Alex, if it wasn't for me of course." Alex had heard that loud & clear as his eyes snapped opened & he glared in Teach's direction
'So it was you...'
It was like a snap of someone's fingers, as Teach was finally going to finish Whitebeard off, Alex dashed over & blocked the attack with a wall of lava. It dissolved & Teach was greeted with Alex glaring into his soul
"So your the reason my FUCKING sister forgot about me, Teach. Isn't it? You said so yourself, you cheating son of a BITCH!!" a fist of lava was sent towards Teach & it sent him flying, Alex created a crack & the rest of his crew fell in, he lifted his finger up & lava flew up
With a satisfied huff, he fell to his knees again before falling onto his chest. Whitebeard did the same but fell backwards. Alex looks back at Whitebeard before smiling brightly, he then happily sighed & closed his eyes
