Alex was breathing heavily as sweat & blood trickled down his forehead, he gripped his scythe as he grit his teeth & glared at Kuma. Currently he was losing, he was able to match up to Kuma but every time he dodged an attack, that meant one of the crew members disappears
Luffy kept on pleading for him to stop but he didn't listen, he was to caught up in rage & fear to even care what Luffy was saying
"Kuma! Why are you doing this?!"
"Because Straw Hat Luffy has struck upon one of the Celestial Dragons." Alex froze
"What?" he looks at Luffy & he merely shrugged, Alex did the splits in order to dodge since Kuma went for a punch but instead hit a tree
'Man he's fast, at this rate...'
Alex froze when he suddenly appeared behind him, he gasped as he lost his footing & was falling backwards
"S-Shit..." he lifts his scythe up & as Kuma touched it, the two of them disappeared
"ALEX!!!!!!"
(Alexander POV)
I suddenly gasp awake & look around, I was in a copper colored room lying in a bed. I set up & the covers to the bed fall & I noticed I had bandages covering my torso
"Where am I?"
"Your on Suru Island." I jumped at the voice, I look over & saw a girl with brown hair & glasses

"Heya, its nice your up. You've been out for quite some time, I'm Jordan by the way."
"Alexander, call me Alex for short." she nods "Um, where's my stuff?"
"Your stuff?" she looks around for a second before grinning & pointing in a corner "Over there darling, & when you reading, come out okay?" I nod, she left the room as I start getting changed

I put my retracted scythe on my belt & set my hat on my head as I walked out of the room, I was blinded by the sunlight but quickly shook it off as I looked around. Nearly everywhere you look you see something mechanical, a robot bird, yep!
"Hey new guy!" I look over & saw Jordan
"Hey kid." she gives me a look
"I'm not a kid, I'm only 19."
"If so, act like it." I said as I tap her nose "How did I end up here? Last thing I remembered, I was..." my heart dropped when I remembered what happened "Y-You have to tell me how long I was put kid! This is serious!"
"Okay okay, if I'm correct, we found you all banged up 2-3 days ago." my eyes widened
"No. No no no no no!!" before I could run off, she grabbed my wrist "I need to find them!"
"Who?!"
"My brother & his crew!!" I started panicking a little but she was able to calm me down by placing a hand on my shoulder
"They'll be fine, right now the King wants to see you."
(Time Skip)
I was pacing around in the room I was currently in while thinking things through, they told me I was on Suru Island, but how far was that to Sabaody? I start tapping my foot on the ground impatiently until I heard a jingle, I reach into my pocket & my eyes widened
"The necklace." I look down at it & weakly smile, I was suppose to give this to Robin, but I guess that'll have to wait "I'll see you again, Robin, I swear."
"Alex!" I look over & saw Jordan "He's ready to see you." she grabs my hand & I lightly blush, mostly because I'm usually uncomfortable around girls. She lid me into the room before walking backwards
"So your the newcomer that miraculously showed out of nowhere. Why is that?"
"I was up against Kuma, one of the Shichubukai--" he gasped
"What?! Why?"
"My brother had done another stupid act, so I had to protect him & his crew, in the end I lost & the next thing I know is that I'm here."
"Hmm, are you a pirate or marine?"
"Pirate." he gasped again
"Pirates aren't exactly welcome here with open arms, we were but that was until people started stealing from us. I don't exactly trust you, so in order for me to trust you fully, you need to fight in the Colosseum." I noticed Jordan's eyes widened
"What?! No!"
"That is the only way." I nod my head
"I'll do it, but in return, I need somewhere to be. My brother is there probably waiting for me." the King thinks before nodding
"Okay, but if you lose, you'll have to stay here & live us one of us." my eyes widened as I clutched onto the necklace
"Fine, I'll do it."

I need him to lose, he has to lose, so he can stay here forever! No one has ever made it through the gladiator match so what makes Alex-kun any different
