Chapter 22. Mock Town

(They meet Alex properly in Mock Town)

(Third Person POV)

"You still can't see it, Usopp?!" currently, the Straw hats had defeated Crocodile from Alabasta, Princess Vivi was home safe & they got a new crew mate, Nico Robin. Right now, Usopp was using a telescope & looking out  to see

"Nope, there are no islands in sight at all!"

"It must be far away then!" Chopper sighed happily while looking up at the sky & saw the seagulls, he smiled at them but suddenly they just dropped to the ship... dead. He started panicking & yelling they got shot

"Are you sure? I heard no gun shots."

"They did, here, its the bullet!" he yelled as he pulled out a bullet, after a few minutes the island was finally in sight & the pirates were cheering at the sight, that was until Usopp noticed something docked on the dock

"Are those pirate ships?"

"Usopp, think! How can a pirate ship openly dock in a public place?"

"Haha, that's right!" he started laughing until they heard someone yell murderer, the three of them started to pale white as a sheet while Zoro grinned 

"This town looks alright."

(Time Skip)

Luffy, Zoro & Nami have now roamed around Mock Town with Sanji, Chopper & Usopp manning the ship & Robin mysterious disappeared. The three have just encountered a weak man who fell off his horse, they helped him up & in return he gave them apples. Luffy ate one, someone exploded, lets carry on to when they saw Jesus Burgess

He was standing on top of a building, just laughing to himself, the citizens were looking up at him weirdly & started talking about him, that was when they said Jesus Burgess the "Wrestling Champion"

"Champion?!"

"What do you guys have to be so competitive?!" moving on, they walk into a very nice resort but was told that it was already booked by a pirate named "Bellamy" (really hate how he talked shit about Luffy) A guy with light blue hair & a girl with blonde hair wearing glasses soon approached them & told them to get lost, Luffy asked if he could kick his ass, Nami said no

The guy found it funny so he threw money at them but they didn't take it cause Nami dragged Luffy away while Zoro followed behind, currently they were in a pub & Nami wasn't in a great mood. Luffy was eating a cherry pie, same with the guy sitting next to him & they started saying the same thing, yet also the opposite

"This cherry pie is delicious/disgusting!" shit like that, lets say when Teach leaves, Bellamy walks in. Some folks run out while some stayed behind, Bellamy offered Luffy a drink & just when he was going to drink it Bellamy smashed his head onto the table. Alex sitting on the ground, fiddling & making something in his hands, he sensed something & looked towards the town

"Did you feel that?"

"Feel what?" then he felt it again

"Something is going on in town."

"Again? Its probably the usual boss." he shook his head

"Not this time, I feel something familiar." he stands up & dusts himself off before grabbing his retracted scythe & putting it on his belt & walking into the town "Fly in the sky & when I need you I'll whistle." he nods before turning into his woffin form & jumping in the air. As Alex stools back into the town he notices people surrounding a pub so he walks towards it & peeks through

'Whats going on here?' he thought but his eyes widened when he saw a familiar straw hat & the person who was wearing it was covered in cuts, bruises & blood, same with the man who was lying on the ground next to him. His stare hardened as he look through the broken window & saw the man with light blue hair laughing, same with everyone in there but one guy with blonde hair who was smirking, & the bartender

Alex cracks his knuckles before walking backwards, before coming back & jumping through the broken window & kicking the guy with blue hair, in the face, but so he didn't send him flying into the alcohol he switched directions & sent him flying into the fall

"Tch, what gives him the right to laugh at those two?" everyone in there stared in shock, including Bellamy. Alex sighed as he walked towards the bartender, & started whispering in his ear "You might want to get out of here, but before you do, could you leave barrels of alcohol & the strongest bottles of it outside? I'll pay." 

"S-Sure kid." Alex smiled before turning around & glaring at Bellamy

"So, who's idea was it to hurt the kid?" Bellamy let out of laugh before walking up to Alex, getting right in his face

"Mine of course! You got a problem with that... pinkie?" an irk mark appeared on his forehead, did he really just call him pinkie?! He stepped backwards & grabbed the retracted pole & turned in it into a scythe then put the blade behind his back, making him flinch & turn around, just to look at how close it is

"Say that name... one more time. I dare you." he hesitated for a second before smirking

"Pin--" Alex did let him finish when he pulled him towards him (Alex) & punched him straight in the face, he moved the scythe away & jumped before kicking him in the face with both his feet, sending him flying. He cracked his neck before retracting his scythe into a pole again & putting it on his belt, & walking towards the two, making Nami tense up

"W-Who are you?!" he didn't answer her when he picked them both up & threw them over his shoulder & gently reached his hand out to hers, but she moved it back "Who are you?" he grinned & moved his goggles from his eyes

"Just a friend." he then grabs her hand & walks out of the pub, hearing everyone screaming & shouting out for him to come back, he then whistles & Sly flies down

"Whoa! What happened to Luffy?!"

"Him not fighting back! Jeez, Shanks is a bad influence on him! But Luffy did win the fight by not fighting back... I'm proud of the kid." he gently puts the two boys on Sly's back & picks Nami up before setting her down onto his back

"O-Oi! What are you doing?!"

"Getting revenge, you might want to hold on tight mi'lady." he whistles again & nudges his head up, Sly nods before shooting up into the air, with Nami screaming her head off & holding on for her dear life. Alex cracks his neck again before stomping on the ground, making a crack form & stretch all the way through the pub. He then lifted him finger up & magma shot up, he smirked to himself before walking off, but was stopped by the bartender

"Here, young sir." he sees that the guy had got him what he wanted, so he started smiling, before awkwardly smiling

"Sorry about your place."

"Nah, I was getting tired of it." Alex tossed him the money before whistling again, making Sly come down

"I got a big score Sly!"

"Nice one boss, but I'm not drinking it." Alex grins, before looking at the orange haired lady

"Sorry if I scared you, or, more like Sly scared you." she shakes her head as she sees him tying the alcohol onto Sly's sattle & putting the bottles into his bag

"I'm fine, but thanks for saving their skin."

"It was no problem, have to do it for my little brother." her eyes widened

"BROTHER?!?!"
