After i left Walmart, I went to my favorite Café. I love to come here when dad was off doing something and didn't come home at normal times.
I took a seat in the white chair near the window. The place was so quite and peaceful. Thats another reason as to why I love coming here.
I sat there for about 3 minutes until a waitress came up to me.
"Hi! What can I get for you today?!" She smiled brightly.
"A pumpkin spice latte would be fine." I smiled back. She wrote my order on a notepad.
"That all?" She asked.
"Yes." I nodded.
"I'll be back with your order. Oh, and I'm Hailey." She extended her hand out for me to shake
"I'm Claire" I shook her hand then let go.
"Nice to meet you Claire!" She squealed.
"You too Hailey."
"Well, I'll be back with your order Claire." She waved then walked away.
To be honest, she looked my age. But hey you never know.
I turned back over to the window. The sun complimented the room.
"Here you go!" Hailey came back with my drink. She startled me.
"Oh, thanks." I grabbed the cup and set it on the table.
"Your welcome." She smiled and sprinted away. I took a sip of the latte and pulled out my phone. Even tho I don't have anyone to call or text. I do have social media. I love to look at peoples art and photography.
I suddenly heard someone plop down in front of me. I looked up from my phone and saw Hailey smiley brightly.
"Can I help you?" I asked nicely.
"Well, you looked lonely and it was my break and I wanted to make a new friend." She squeaked.
I turn off my phone and set it on the table.
"OK" I placed my arms in front of me.
"Tell me about yourself " she said
"What do you want to know?" I raised my eyebrows
"Well. How old are you?"
"17"
"Fav color"
"Blue"

"Do you know Melanie Martinez and do you like her?"
"Yes and yes."
