"Hello?" I cough.
"Hey Claire. Its me, Hailey. Are you OK?" Hailey spoke of fear
"I'm fine, what's up?" I sigh and lay across my bed.
"OK, well I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my house and just hang out?" She squealed. I felt a smile pull against my lips.
"Uh sure. Your not gonna kill me, are ya?" I laughed.
"No! OK... Maybe"
"Wait- seriously?!" My smile faded
"I'm joking silly! Here, I'll text you my address." She hung up. My smile came back.
My phone buzzed in my hand. When I read her address, I jumped off my bed and slid on my shoes. I rushed out of my room and ran downstairs.
"Whoa tiger, where you heading off too?" Cole stopped me halfway through the stair.
"Friends house, no move!" I tried slipping away but he blocked me.
"Wow! You have friends?" He chuckled
"Oh shut your cake hole and get out of my way!!" I smacked his arm.
"OK, OK" he moved and put his hands up in defeat. I grabbed my keys and ran out the door. I got in my car and raced to Hailey's house.

"Yay! Your here!" Hailey pulled me into a hug then released me.
"Nice to see you too." I laughed.
"Well come in!!" She dragged me inside the house
"So what do you want to do??" I put my hands into my pockets.
"I really didn't think of that. Um, do you play video games!? Let's play video games!!" She dragged me once again to another room. The room had blue walls, a white large desk with a flat screen TV placed on it. A bed with zebra print sheets and a vanity.
"This is my room, if your wondering. Have you ever played Mario Kart??" She handed me a WII remote and put a Mario Kart disk into the WII box.
"Uh, no." I shook my head.
"K, I'll shoe you then." The TV lit up with a blue screen saying 'START'
Hailey grabbed a WII remote for herself. The screen switched to another heading.
'SINGLE PLAYER OR MULTIPLAYER?' Hailey pressed multiplayer.
"CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER!" The TV announced.
"Who do you want to be?" Hailey turned to me.
"Doesn't matter. Here you choose." I handed her the controller.
"Okay." She scrolled through characters and chose Peaches. She handed me my controller then she chose her own character, which was Bowser.
"Isn't he the bad guy?" I chuckled.
"Ya, that's why I chose him." She smiled.
"HAILEY WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MY CAR KEYS!!" A voice called from another room
Hailey internally groaned
"JESUS CHRIST LUKE WE HAVE COMPANY!" she yelled back. Hailey's door opened
"Who's here?" Some one walked in. I perked my head towards the familiar figure.
"Claire? What are you doing here?"
I looked down. My heart started pounding faster.
"Hold up, you two know each other? Hailey questioned.
" oh ya, we are good friends." I could basically hear Lucas's smile.
And we aren't friends! I don't understand why he thinks that.
"Cool, NOW GO AWAY YOU BIMBO" Hailey pushed Lucas out of her room and slammed the door in his face.
"Sorry about my Brother. He is an ass." She sighed and walked back towards me
